This place was very clean and well kept. Fully furnished. The only thing we didn't like, was that it was right off the highway, but it served us well.

Well it's really not a cabin.... but it rhymed! This house was perfect for two couples and it would easily accommodate three. There is plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, all in a very nice setting. Just a couple miles out of Custer, SD was a great location and easy access to Custer State Park, Rushmore, Crazy Horse and a nice drive to the Badlands. Colorado is overrated. The Black Hills of SD is the place to relax and enjoy Gods creation.

We spent a week in the Black Hills and thoroughly enjoyed coming “home” to our lovely little cottage each evening. Location was perfect for our day trips and the house was clean, well equipped and provided everything we needed for a wonderful getaway.

We loved our time at this home. It was wonderfully furnished and there were so many thoughtful extras. A state park pass was included along with a small cooler which was all that we needed for our picnics. The home was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. There were even extra pens and paper for our game playing enjoyment.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was set up really nice for our family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and had enough room for multiple people to make lunches at the same time. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having the windows open and feeling the cool breeze blow through. We enjoyed the deck out front even though you could hear a little road noise. The location was nice being close to Custer without being in town. Short drives to Mt Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Crazy Horse, etc. The hosts were great to work with.

This was the perfect place and size for 6 adults - 2 singles and 2 couples. We did day trips from this location which was perfect. At first thought maybe no AC would be a problem, but opened it up at night ran fans and it cooled off. In the morning we closed up, put down blinds and it was still cool when we returned every day - mid to late afternoon. Quiet and peaceful area. We all loved our stay.

This was the second year we stayed at this location. We love the access to all of the sites of the Blackhills. The family loved doing a puzzle in the evening and seeing the sites during the day.

Cozy Acre was a great place to stay. Every attraction you might want to visit is right around the corner. The small town feeling of Custer really helps you escape the rat race.

The home itself is quite clean and had anything we needed. We used all the bedroom spaces, the kids enjoyed the loft area, we made breakfast and dinner there most days, and we relaxed in the evenings. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked, furniture and beds are comfy, and space is plenty. We never felt cramped, and our family can be large and loud!
We would absolutely love to return to this area again and when we do, we’d rent this home without hesitation.

Property was well located to reach parks, monuments and other sites in the Black Hills and Badlands. Host thought of everything. The annual pass to Custer State Park was a special treat, as we traversed the park several times over 4 days. Well stocked with cooking staples and condiments on top of pots, pans and necessary utensils. Comfortable beds and common spaces. Perfect for 2 retired couples traveling together for multiple days.

Our family of four and both sets of grandparents stayed here for 4 days. It was a great place to have family breakfasts & dinners between our sight seeing in the area. The kids loved the upstairs area stocked with games.
Our only concerns were limited bath towels.

The house was very nice with all the modern conveniences. It was well supplied with pretty much everything anyone would need including soap, shampoo, cooking supplies, etc., etc. The location was perfect too as it was just a couple of minutes drive from downtown Custer, SD and close to many of the local area attractions. The internet was a bit slower than what we've been used to but it wasn't an issue. However, while we were at the property, the local fiber optic provider company installed fiber optic lines to the home which the workers told us would dramatically increase the internet speed. Overall our stay was excellent and we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

We were two couples who needed four beds and this property accommodated our needs. The stairs to the loft with two beds and a small bathroom are a bit steep. The house has ceiling fans but no air conditioner. Fortunately the upstairs windows opened and there was a fan that allowed it to cool down adequately. The living room, eating area, and kitchen are very large and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, spices, oil and vinegar, and the dishwasher works well. Being so close to downtown Custer was fabulous. Easy to get to restaurants, the grocery store, and then out to main sites in the area. You will enjoy your stay here!

Clean home with more than we expected. Comfortable beds with nice bedding and lots of pillows . We have stayed in places that claimed to sleep six, but barely accommodated our family of five. This place easily accommodated five of us, plus my mother in law. Could have easily slept more and had places for everyone to relax when sight seeing was done. The owner has obviously invested time and effort into making this place inviting and comfortable for guests.

This home is good value. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, beds slept great, good bbq grill. Super nice home and very close to all that is offered in Custer. It was lovely to sit on the deck at night.

My group had a great time staying at this property while hiking/exploring Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. The house was spacious, clean, and the host immediately responded to any questions or issues we had. Would recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting the Black Hills

Beautiful yard, close to town!
This property is clean, well stocked, and check in was a breeze. Communication with the owner was great and I had a question and he got back to me within minutes. The location is great! The road is a little busy, but for us with a group of kids it was nice to be able to run into town for Ice cream and pizza within minutes. This house is one of the most well stocked and well decorated I have ever stayed at. Would totally stay here again for the homey feel and location. Great vacation!!!

Great location to setup base camp and see everything in the black hills. House is spacious and has comfortable furniture. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Close to everything in Custer but away from the busy main street.

Great location to access all the sites in the area!
We spent 5 days at this property so we could visit the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, The Badlands, Custer State Park, and a few other places and it was fantastic! Very central to everything, clean house with plenty of room. Owner was very communicative and easy to deal with. I would definitely use again and highly recommend.
