The Barn Tokyo

Fantastic location in a quiet street and close to everything. Friendly staff who spoke good English and were very helpful. Loved small touches like complimentary snacks and coffee in the morning. Happy to hold your bags before and after check in/out.

The lift was a little small if you have big bags.

Great value for the price of a clean room in Tokyo. Bed firm and comfortable (for us). Very good shower. Location: short, safe walk from a Yamanote train line stop, making it a very convenient place to stay. One subway stop to Ueno and only a few to Shinjuku. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Like many hotels in Japan, room was small. Although there was a window in the corner of our room, it felt dark.

The staff was exceptional. They were all very compassionate and accommodating. The room was super clean and peaceful. They have quite hours which is a plus. I really liked that they are a little more eco friendly than other hotels in Japan. I feel like they reduced the use of single use products with things that could be cleaned again. I really appreciate that a lot. The staff and detail of reduce, reuse and recycle was refreshing. I took a video of my room and sadly I can only upload photos her.

I stayed at a lot of hotels during my travels around Japan. I always try to book a hotel with a tub. I was surprised this did not have tub in it. I did book this last minute and completely an oversight of mine. Aside from that everything was amazing.

Clean facility, great amenities, great staff, free netflix

Paper thin walls, poor location. Sink was in the main room which was weird.
