This is a cute place just outside the hustle and bustle of the villlage. There was a problem at check in but the owner made it work and we got the room we needed for my husbands mobility issues.
This is an older property which makes it that Moore charming. The furniture, chairs were very dirty and needed a good steam cleaning. I see the owner is replacing the refrigerators etc due to a new shipment he was moving while we were there.

The owners of Ventura Grand Inn are wonderful. The service is great and location close to restaurants and bars.

The location was good for our trip.
It had hot water, the door locked, heater functioned (although loudly).
Unfortunately the hotel was not a comfortable stay. It was fine for one night. It was on the cheaper end of Mammoth hotels ($280).
The room had a worn look, the towel was dirty (make up and brown stain), the bathroom was rundown. The room had extra and mismatched furniture. TV did not work.
