We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bear Paw Cabin and only regret that we were not able to spend more time relaxing at the house. The property is surrounded by woods, no neighbors in sight, and very quiet! There is a long gravel drive to the property, nothing you need 4WD or AWD for though.
The house was spotless and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and there were extra blankets and pillows in the bedrooms. Everything worked well. If you're used to lightening fast internet, the speeds here might be a bit slow, but the tv was still able to stream with minimal freezing while 3 people were on other devices.
The owners were friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The cabin is actually bigger than the photos make it seem; all rooms are quite spacious and more than enough room for a family.
Highly recommend! If we ever return to the area, we'd definitely book here again.

Cute cabin- loved our few days there. Very convenient to many areas. Beautiful mountain setting. So many amenities provided with rental. Recommend it! ( just one bathroom might keep families from renting)— but maybe not. We’re going to rent again.

This cabin is amazing. We can't wait to come back. Our favorite cabin we have ever stayed at in North Georgia (admittedly, we are very partial to Rabun County and it's beauty). Thank you for having us! If you go be sure to check the stars at night too.

I Love this cabin. It is hard for me to find the privacy I like, but this place is great. No neighbors, no noise. The weather was great and the leaves perfect. I enjoyed the fire pit while my wife enjoyed the fireplace. She did not like the gravel drive but we made it in a small car, no problem. I give 5 stars.

The property was very clean and the pictures were spot on. The information provided was perfect to let you know exactly what to do for check in and check out. It is 100% private and had its own private mile long trail.
We did have an issue with the toilet (which things happen as it worked find the night before) and we went out on a hike and when we came back it was fixed. The kitchen had all the needing cooking utensils and gear.
Plenty of firewood and kindling to get a nice fire started. Everything we needed was right there and the grocery store was near the house. One trip and your all set for your weekend. We will be coming back.

I took my daughter and grandson to this cabin for a fall getaway. It was perfect and so roomy. It is close to HIghlands and Franklin, NC. We enjoyed the swing on the screened in porch. The cabin is pet friendly too! This was our second stay here and will stay here again.

Cabin was clean and quite. The wifi didn't work so good, always buffering in the evening. There was no cell phone service (t-mobile), so very difficult to communicate with others. The beautiful fireplace in the living room was not available for use. Lastly, the mattress was horrible. Will not stay there again, and would not recommend it until items mentioned above are attended to.

The cabin was clean and well equiped. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the peacefulness. We only wished we had booked the cabin for a longer period of time.
The host got back with us in a timely manner with all our questions.

Family of 4. Spent 4 days of Spring Break here and everyone loved it. You have to hike the trail or drive down the road for cell service, so helpful tip: take a screen shot of the weather forecast before you get there. Very convenient to a grocery store and dollar general for necessities. Only negative was the very low water pressure when showering. Quick drive to Highland's Aerial Park zip lining and the shops in downtown Clayton.

Everything was as advertised. Maybe upgrade the DVD player to a newer one. With the discs being scratched it was difficult to find one to play.

The heat is going to kill someone - raw gas - had to go buy 2 heaters at wal mart to keep warm !!!

Very secluded and private. Not in someone's back yard. It was perfect for what we wanted with our two dogs. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful cabin in north Georgia. Had everything we needed. Great size kitchen, beds were comfy and the screened porch was so nice! No cable for tv but had lots of dvds to watch.

Delightful bear-themed cabin, had everything we needed for our stay. Tucked away on the side of the mountain in a quiet clearing, it was nice to hear nature instead of civilization.

Raining and wet outside fell and slipped on the wet grass broke my arm ended up in the emergency room had to return home and have surgery on the arm so the vacation ended the first day , I do suggest the owner gets phone service there in case of emergency like this one.
