Hotel Saint Hildegard

The location was incredible with great wait staff The dinner and breakfast were top notch.

I was initially frustrated that the reception supposedly put us in the wrong room. They said it wasn’t clean even though it looked perfect with a disinfectant paper on the toilet. We had to come off the beach and move to a different smaller room which had a definite odor of cigarette. The reception reported smoking is forbidden in the rooms . However, ashtrays on the terrace with an open door could allow smoke odor in for an asthmatic. She also forgot to turn the AC on in the bedroom. The manager never spoke with us as stated. With the AC on and after opening the doors and windows, we were able to enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening. I strongly feel we were moved because we booked through booking and not there website.

Absolutely stunning location, beach and water are amazing. Lots of beds and umbrellas. Lovely breakfast, the guys who work in the restaurant area are amazing.

Towels, thin and fraying. You have to pay extra if you want clean beach towels. If you don’t have a car it can feel isolating as no other bars or restaurants in the area. Getting Ubers etc can be expensive and challenging. Would be great if the hotel offered a mini bus of some sort.

We’ve been staying at this property for the past 6 years. Ever since they’ve opened the hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is also great but you’ll likely spend moat of the time outside on the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and all come with sea view. And what a view that is …

The hotel had a bit of a staffing problem but I’m sure that is temporary
