House is convenient to busier beach areas, quiet location, and just a few houses away from the beach. Xfinity tv was appreciated, small items we could use, such as binoculars, was a plus, and I enjoyed the nice outdoor shower. Kitchen had all the appliances we like, ceiling fans in all the rooms was good, to.

Our family had a wonderful time at Gary and Dori's home. They were great hosts with a beautiful, comfortable home just a short walk to the beach. We'd never been to Broadkill Beach before and it's a really charming community - we hope to be back again.

I grew up going to Broadkill, and this stay as an adult did not disappoint. Light, airy house a very short distance from the beach and walkable to the local store and crabbing/fishing areas. Also a close drive to the fun in Rehoboth. Process of reserving and checking in and out was easy and owners were friendly.

I was so impressed with this property - I have stayed at a variety of properties before and this one by far was the BEST in all ways! Extremely clean from top to bottom, exactly as described, super close to the beach and was stocked with so many homey extras - truly a lovely home, decorated so nicely. Only unanticipated thing was the house next door was getting renovated so there was alot of construction noise but we were on the beach all day anyway so it really didn't matter much. Everyone in the area was so nice and friendly - we got friendly with some of the the local neighbors with dogs walking on the beach and had some great conversations with them. Loved being away from all the hustle and bustle of the beach but close enough to go out to eat and go places quite easily. I will absolutely be renting this awesome home again in the future.....hopefully in September!! Thank you to the wonderful hosts/owners for offering this wonderful home and all of the extras and the attention to detail. The wine and chocolate basket was so great and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

What a blessing this house and Dori and Gary were for me and my sisters! I had no idea what to expect, but any expectations I had were greatly exceeded. The house was beautiful, peaceful and cozy…just what we needed. The area was quiet and the beach was beautiful. We were thankful for our time together and that we didn’t have to worry about anything to do with the house…we walked in and were at home. We hope to go there again, even talked about making it an annual event. Thank you Dori and Gary, for sharing your home with us.

Online description of house is spot-on. Neighborhood is quiet. Views of marsh are spectacular. Beach and swimming are within easy walking distance. One can walk for miles on either the beach or on Broadkill's roads.

This was our second year staying at the property and we loved it again. Broadkill is our happy place! It was the perfect getaway for our little family (2 kids 5 and under) and my parents. The home has been kept up well, and even had a few upgrades since last year that we enjoyed (new microwave, sliding barn door on the bathroom, new couches/covers). We appreciate the owners attention to detail! We'd love to return next year! :)

Family Friendly and Absolutely Wonderful!
Our family has been coming to the Delaware beaches for years and our stay at Dori and Gary's place in Broadkill was the best by far. We have 3 kiddos from ages 1.5 to 8 and everyone had a blast walking to the beach, kayaking, fishing, etc.
The house was the cleanest we have ever seen and the location can't get much better with a minute or two walk to the beach. Our hosts were extremely quick to respond to our questions and we felt right at home with all of the amenities.
We were able to relax and enjoy our entire trip from start to finish. 100 percent recommend to book your next stay

Highly Recommend!
We stayed here for nearly a week. It fit our family of 5 perfectly. Beach was a short walk away which worked wonderfully with the young kids as it allowed us to come and go from the beach quickly. The home is nestled in a quiet low key area but just a short drive to Rehoboth. I highly recommend if you are wanting a quiet getaway.

Great getaway!
The property was great! It was a 5 minute walk to a very quiet beach - we saw dolphins twice the 4 days we were there. The house was big enough for 4 adults to have lots of room to spread out or eat together. I would absolutely return.

We also found out how thoughtful our hosts were as they had provided pretty much everything a family would need to enjoy a beach vacation, including beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler! We had such an amazing time that we booked another trip this year for twice as long! It already feels like pur home away from home, and we look forward to making more magical memories, courtesy of our amazing hosts Dori and Gary! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

We had a wonderful time. The house is very clean and the rules were understandable and easy to follow. There were some nice little details, that made the stay more enjoyable. We cooked, almost every meal in the kitchen and it is was stocked well enough that, that was pretty easy to do.
There are some nice bike rides close by as well as just going right out the front door.

Nice and Quiet and relaxing vacation

It didn’t really effect our stay or our happiness, just would have been nice to know prior to booking. We were pleasantly surprised to find out hand soap and dish soap were indeed waiting for us at the home. Our toddler was also very comfortable, safe and happy here. Wonderful house at Broadkill Beach
We highly recommend this house if you are staying at Broadkill. It is clean and well-maintained with a 2-minute walk to the beach and beautiful view of the marsh. Broadkill is our favorite Delaware beach. It is quiet and friendly and seems a world away from the crowds of Rehoboth. It is a quick drive (or bike ride) to Prime Hook and an easy drive to Lewes and Cape Henlopen, at least in the off-season.

Loved the property! Beach is within walking distance. Area is away from hustle and bustle of crowds and noise. Perfect space for us to relax and reconnect with each other!

We had such a wonderful time at Gary & Dori's place. The home was spotless, spacious and comfortable and perfect for our family of five. It had everything we needed to enjoy cooking at home as well as the beach (chairs and boogie boards were super fun and the floaty they had ended up being clutch for our 10 year old who just broke her arm and couldn't get her cast wet).We LOVED being so close to the beach and Broadkill was a great fit for our family (waves weren't too big for our kiddos (ages 4, 8, 10) and the beach was never crowded. Thank you Gary & Dori! Highly Recommend!
