I was waiting for the shoe to drop on this one since the price was so reasonable. I seriously almost didn’t book it because it’s such a beautiful place, I thought for sure it should be listed for more. It’s not a trick, BOOK THIS PLACE!!! We had two 17 year old boys with us as well as a one and a half year old and they all had an amazing time. The youngest had a blast climbing the amazing staircase, several times. He loved looking out the floor to ceiling windows and banging on them to try and get people’s attention. If anyone was out there, let me tell you, they got a show. The 17 year olds made comments along the lines of feeling like millionaires renting that place and feeling like they were in George Washington’s house. Then they turned to saying it was so cheap because it has to be haunted. We had a lot of fun with that theory but all jokes aside, no paranormal activity actually occurred. There is a bedroom door, on the top floor that will slowly close if it’s not open all the way, clearly just a weird angle but man talk about seeing a 17 year old run for their life. Ha The PlayStation 5 was a huge hit and my boys were stoked to see so many controllers. They also had a blast playing around in the recording studio. The bedrooms are amazing, the woodwork is amazing. Everything about this house was amazing, I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Hosts were wonderful, super responsive! Everything was truly fantastic and we would one million percent stay again

The house is beautiful! We enjoyed the space and the kids loved the TV set up and studio in the basement. The kitchen was over run with ants. Not just a couple of ants, hundreds of ants. It made cooking very difficult. They would climb on your knife when you were chopping vegetables or up your leg when standing at the stove. When I contacted the property manager he basically said there was nothing to do about it. Very disappointed.Also, there were only 2 kitchen towels with no others to be found. No extra bath towels either.Overall the house is great, but if they dont get the ants under control it will be very difficult to continue renting it out.
