We loved this little house! It was so perfect for us and exactly what we needed for our trip. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was so homey, cozy and inviting. Very comfortable like home away from home. We hated to leave and can’t wait to return. Summer was great! When I had questions, I was blown away at the speed of her responses. She has created quite a special little gem that has etched a place in our hearts.
The only thing I wish could be different is the driveway—which given the layout of the property and neighborhood probably can’t be changed. There were multiple vehicles at the other rental property during our stay, so it was very tight to come and go, even for my car. The front end of our car is very low so we also had to be careful not to drag coming and going. But if we would’ve driven one of our SUVs I’m not sure how that would’ve worked. So when it says the driveway is tight, it is tight. It’s absolutely doable—just be aware. Even so, there’s no way that it would keep us away. :)

I can't even begin to tell you how much we loved staying here! It was SO cute! Quaint, tastefully adorned, and so many thoughtful amenities throughout the space. We even had a handwritten note when we arrived! Summer was the best host we've ever dealt with! She was very informative of the area (book is inside) and instructions ahead of time to check in, parking, etc. It was also very clean! The location was ABSOLTUEY perfect. Literally a minute drive into downtown. We even snuck back out at 9:30pm one night just to get dessert from Tamaras! Ha! I swear that was the most comfortable bed and linens I've ever slept in. It was just the perfect, coziest place we've ever had the privilege of staying in. Thank you, Summer! We will absolutely try to sneak away to stay here again!

The cottage was perfect, very clean, close to town with everything we needed. We had coffee and a light breakfast there every morning a perfect way to start the day. Thank you for the card and gift very thoughtful, we enjoyed our stay very much!

My husband and I stayed here for a short weekend get away to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean and decorated so tastefully. The owners even left us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate!! Great place! We would definitely stay here again.

This property is as cute and comfy as it looks. Perfect for an individual or couple, it's well-functioning for a quick stay or several days in town. Multiple areas for sitting, eating and being outdoors made it big enough to enjoy leisure time. It's a quiet and well-kept property just a few blocks from all of downtown. My husband and I found it had everything we needed for slow mornings and cooking in the evening for the two of us. And it's definitely the most comfortable bed we've had during travel outside of hotels.

Cozy & very clean
Myself and my daughter enjoyed our stay! I have stayed at many Vrbo's and I will say this listing was the cleanest! You walk in and everything is immaculate. The main road is not even 5 minutes down the road so you have easy/quick access to your needs.

Cozy Cottage
This was our fifth visit to Fairhope and the fourth stay in Palmetto Carriage House. It is the perfect size, perfectly furnished, and a perfect walking distance from town. The host is always most gracious. We will only stay there each visit to Fairhope.

This was our third stay at this cottage. We only plan our trip around the availability of this cottage. The cottage is private, walkable to town, always perfectly stocked with everything you need, is scrubbed clean, and delightfully furnished. The owner is available for anything you may need. Perfection!!

We loved our stay and everything about the cottage house! From the decor to the location, it was perfect. The owners always answered in a timely manner and went above and beyond to help us! They even provided an air mattress for our children since Hurricane Ida changed our plans a bit. Will definitely stay again!
