My family has been vacationing on Fripp for over 40 years and we have stayed in many different houses on the island. I would certainly recommend this house, this specific location and this owner. The house is older but has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The back dock allows for fishing, crabbing and even a small boat if you wanted to bring one. The fish cleaning station on the dock was so helpful. We caught plenty of Redfish, Spot, Croakers, and Blue Crab. We even saw a 6 foot alligator swim by. Its so nice to be able to dock and all its offerings, but also be able to walk inside when it rains. The house is essentially directly across from the beach access and just down the road from the a great sunset viewing area. The rental came with a golf cart that made getting around so helpful. The house has plenty of bedroom space and thankfully plenty of bathrooms for a large group.*Most important of all is that the owner was always accessible, polite and responsive when we had a question. Don't underestimate how much that matters when you are on vacation. I would absolutely stay here again.
