This was a last minute rental for us due to spouse's trial schedule so we were lucky to get a house that could accommodate us to begin with. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The dock was a hit with our younger son (13) and our older son and his friend enjoyed having the downstairs to themselves. Over all the home was great. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were cozy. The front porch was enjoyable and you can tell that the owners are trying to spruce things up room by room. The golf cart was perfect as well. Beach access was easy peasy and the location really worked for our crew. Communication was excellent.The internet did not work when we arrived (only needed the TV to work so we could watch our Braves!) but Justin came over immediately after I called and swapped out the modem. Crisis avoided ;)The ONLY two things I would highly encourage the owners to do is 1 - REPAIR THE BACK DECK. Being married to an atty, this is a massive liability. His foot nearly went through it. The wood rot is dangerous. It should be taped off or home not rented until repaired. We were lucky we have older children but a family with younger ones may have had a different outcome. 2 - update the sliding doors and windows soon. There were droppings in the master upstairs. It wasn't enough to run us off as we live in Savannah and are used to coastal life. Thank you for sharing your home! Y'all are really doing a great job updating it.

This house was a great place to stay to fish in the canal out back and cross the road to the beach. We had a great vacation with ages from 3 to 80 in the house. My only not 5 star would be the comfort of furniture in main living areas, especially for the grandmothers, but otherwise the owners were so helpful with any questions and handling a A/C issue without interrupting any fun. This was actually the second time my family and I had stayed at this property. Since there is a separate apartment with a living room, kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom, we found it to be convenient when traveling with teens who could stay in there and have their own space. The property was clean and comfortable and is a perfect location right across the street from the beach. It came with an electric golf cart in great condition, and tons and tons of beach chairs, body boards and other beach supplies. My family and I had a wonderful time and would love to stay again.

The location can’t be beat as it’s right across from the beach and close to all of the Fripp activities. Property is in rough shape (beat-up old furniture, squeaky beds) and the cleaning left a lot to be desired. For what we paid, we were expecting the property to be a bit nicer. Property management group was very responsive… I communicated with them about the cleaning issues and they responded right away. If you’re not looking for anything fancy and want to be walking distance to the beach, you will like this place.
