The off the beaten track but convenient location let us be in a local neighborhood where we enjoyed small cafes, dining spots and the local bath house.
The amenities such as a hot water pot, cups, sleep wear and small towels were missing. When we strongly asked for a water kettle, they brought one an hour later.
No elevator and the narrow stairs limits the people who can comfortably stay at this hotel.
Not even a stool or bench in the lobby, but when we arrived and phoned for the staff for check in, we had to wait about ten minutes for the staff to arrive.

Lovely spacious comfortable room with a stylish design. Very clean. Lovely to have a little balcony
The location is a bit further away so need to factor in travel time to see the main sights, it is easy enough to travel by bus though. It would be nice if the room had a small bin in the bathroom, some cups and a kettle. Otherwise it was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay in Kyoto

部屋の中は白を基調としてて清潔感はあった。目の前が道路で交通量も少ないわけじゃないのに、全体的にとても静か。バス停、コンビニ兼ドラッグストアが思ったより近くて助かった。湯船に浸かりたかったら、すぐ近くに銭湯がある。ホテルは24時間出入り自由。
ベットの下がホコリだらけ。お風呂のシャワーを2、3分出しっぱなしにすると足元に水が溜まってくる（水を止めて1分ほど待てば水はなくなる）。階段の壁と壁の幅も狭いし、階段の踏み場の幅も狭い。フロントは男性の方が対応してくださったけど、1泊2日でその方以外の従業員さんを見てないため、少し心配にはなる。
