Hotel Boutique Can Pocovi

I love that you could help yourself to beverages and snacks there but we arrived at 5pm and there was no visible staff available. We had to go straight to an event so would have been great if there had been a note in our room explaining the system as we very much wanted a glass of wine! Once we understood this system we really did like it. If I can recommend some more food availability in the honesty system though. Wine was incredible!! Beautiful little pool on the roof, loved our beautiful room and the courtyard was so cheerful and bright.

We arrived at 5pm and they left a key for us in reception...but we couldn't find reception! No sign on where to go from courtyard and we couldn't get hold of any staff by phone for at least 30 mins. Our room was also 'upgraded' - it was a beautiful BEAUTIFUL room but right next to reception with just a wooden door to separate us. Like two metres from reception! In the mornings it was incredibly loud and a lie in was impossible. This was not ideal as we were staying in the town to go to a three day wedding with some very late nights.

Location of the Hotel is perfect for exploring the beautiful village with a few wonderful eateries and bakery’s. It’s also close to the very scenic east coast beaches and several good golf courses. Our suite in the hotel was stand alone from the hotel and is beautiful large and with a fabulous bathroom and upstairs a small private pool.

We booked 7 nights b&b the breakfast choices were very poor, no local ingredients no fresh fruit that was seasonal for the beginning of July melons peaches nectarines berries were not to be seen. The Bread was either to hard and dry to eaten fresh or when toasted it was inedible. There were meats cheeses and yogurts that seemed to come from a local Lidl or Aldi . In the seven nights spent at the hotel we only had 3 attempts at breakfast it was so poor, even having a cup of tea was problematic no semi skimmed milk. Our suite had its own pool and sun terrace with Sun lounger and chairs, 2 days prior to arrival I spoke with someone at the hotel about shading around our pool and terrace only to be told that it would be fine. There is absolutely no shade from 11 am until 9 at night and made the use of the facilities very limited. We had many exchanges with the hotel manager to no avail we believe that their hands are tied as regards spend , most staff had great difficulty understanding English but they tried too help us as best they could.As you can see from the Photos the pool area will soon be overlooked by the property opposite, the curtains don’t fit and no shade.
