Al ser un lujo puede que los precios de cenas románticas pueden ser algo excesivos, pero realmente vale la pena, nosotros estábamos de luna de miel por lo que es un gusto que teníamos que darnos.

Resort looks great, the staff is very friendly. Rooms are big, nicely decorated, very clean. Food at the restaurant is a good option as well, breakfast is great and varied. We enjoyed our stay there.

A little far from the city center so the transport got pricier and local taxi prohibited grab from hotel pick ups.

I love the room we stayed in. We stayed above the rooms with the private pools and had a bath tub on the balcony overlooking the forest/hills view! I preferred our room over the ones with the private pools! Was absolutely stunning. The main pool is also amazing!

We stayed in Room 306 and everything was amazing until the last day when one of the staff tried to fool me and rip me off. I ordered Salmon eggs Benedict with a Mocktail drink and she tried to charge me an extra 100k on top of my meal. I wasn’t happy about this especially when she tried to fake laugh it off.

Everything about the hotel is beautiful and perfect. Staff is very friendly room was cleaned every day very peaceful environment. Loved everything about it.

The place is beautiful, hanging over the forest, so stunning views but reaching it by car is a little tricky. Still the view can’t be beaten. The staff is super lovely however some of them speak English better then others . Overall the pool with its infinity style and views will beat everything but it is a llittle far from the centre.

They could be a little slow at breakfast which made us consistently late in the morning. Something to keep in mind.

Everything was perfect. Amazing location and the view. Very responsive, polite and professional staff. The hotel is not very big so not many guests there, and therefore enough space in the restaurant and near the pool. It looks like new and was very clean. Breakfast options include both international and local food.

Beautiful accommodation over looking the jungle. Rooms have good air con. Staff are extremely friendly and I could not praise them enough. The restaurant is average and I wouldn't recommend it. Rooms with a private pool are located on the bottom floor.

Highly recommend their service and room. The smell is so good when we enter to the room. Swimming pool is also a good place to relaxing.

The room and facilities were perfect. View from the room and from the pool is beautiful, it's atop a large lush garden with a small creek below the green covered tiny valley. Vegetation around the hotel is home to many small animals and birds. The hotel appears to attract guests who enjoy serenity like we do, so we were in good company. Restaurant was great, everything we tried was delicious, albeit a bit expensive in comparison to other places we tried around. Service and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is a little bit away from the relatively noisy Ubud center, we actually prefer this. Apparently the nearby taxi mafia convinced the city to make Grab/Uber forbidden in nearby streets, the staff offered to take our luggage to a nearby meeting point which was a lovely touch.

We spotted a tiny lizard in the room but it escaped too quickly! There was also a chatty gecko that woke us up almost every night. These little harmless things don't even make a dent to the overall experience though.

We loved everything about our stay, the staff were exceptional and brilliant at their job. The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. The restaurants food quality was exceptional. The only regret is not staying longer. We would happily recommend the kastara resort to anyone, and if we are lucky enough to return to ubud, we would not hesitate to stay again.

Kastara Resort is just awesome! The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay memorable. The facilities are top-notch, from comfy rooms to cool amenities – it's all about luxury and comfort. What makes Kastara special is their attention to detail. The decor is on point, and those little touches everywhere give the whole place a classy vibe. The kimonos are wonderful , in fact I bought one. The musicians playing the rindik on Sunday morning were amazing !!! The dining experience is pretty good, but the kitchen's menu could use a bit more flair and use fresher ingredients at all time. Mixing things up and adding some buffet and fresh breakfast Would make the food match the high standards set by the rest of the resort. In a nutshell, Kastara Resort is a gem with fantastic staff, great facilities, and a keen eye for detail, my partner and I felt at home and loved it !!A few tweaks in the kitchen, and it could easily become the ultimate getaway!

The place was amazing, clean, the view and swimming pool were great. Staff were very considerate and we had a wonderful stay. It's in a quite village but still has many stores/cafes down the road. Beautiful scenery in the area.

The area only accepts local taxis for pick up which was a bit more inconvenient and more expensive then grab/Gojek but you get used to it after awhile and can negotiate with the local taxi drivers.

Kamer, locatie (10 minuten van centrum ubud), personeel, spa!! alles was wat ons betreft perfect. Zitten ook een paar leuke restaurantjes in de buurt, en je kan er een mooie wandeling naar het centrum mogen.

Eigenlijk helemaal niks, als ik dan toch wat mag opnoemen is het the Gym daar hadden iets meer apparaten mogen staan! er waren er een aantal kapot. De enige vervelende ervaring die wij hadden, was met een aantal dronken Russen (zeer luidruchtig en onbeschoft) de medewerkers gingen hier heel goed mee om (Hotel kan er natuurlijk ook niks aan doen, dat deze mensen zich zo gedragen)

We loved the staff and the service but most of all we loved the village that Kastara is in!

We didn’t like how big and imposing the resort was compared to everything else in the village. It is such a shame that they allow kastara to have bright lights on and huge tours of people coming which spoils the beautiful quiet and special village. It would have been good like the rest of the places to remain small and humble and stopped music etc at 8pm like everywhere else. We can’t believe people were being so rude that Uber and gojek cars were not allowed in the village. We were so GRATEFUL that they did not allow any outsider transport and instead allow only local buisness… we hope that this always remains the case.

What we loved were clearly the views and amazing infinity pool. The provided floating beds are a VERY nice addition. Besides this, the rooms are very luxurious and clean. There’s also an elevator to get you between floors which is nice after a long day. The gym/yoga studio is simply EPIC and it’ll make you want to work out. The equipment is very decent too. There are also shows at the hotel restaurant every night at 7pm. We did 3 of those and they were all great!! Lastly, this is one a few hotels which offers Soy, almond and oat milk for your coffee. Excellent little touch!

What we didn’t like was the somewhat cold feel. The hotel is luxurious but lacks a bit of life. Some plants in the hallways for example would make a big difference. In the room there was no bar food or bar drinks and the bed mattress and pillows were pretty firm. If you like a soft bed, you might struggle a bit. Speaking of pool area, sadly, it’s open to smokers so that might interrupt your zen a bit especially if you’re sensitive to smoke. It was quite disappointing for us. Speaking of prices, we found the restaurant wasn’t far off Australian prices so just beware Bali is not the hat it used to be. Also, there are no activities included besides Yoga and which happens every other day and lasts for 30 mins. The class was OK but not as good as other places. Lastly, the last 300m of the road before the hotel are a toll road and so each time our taxi drive would drive in, they would have to pay 5000idr. Once we had to return to the hotel twice because we forgot something and had to pay the fee each time! Ridiculous.

Kastara is situated in a beautiful part of Ubud. Our room had a fabulous view overlooking the jungle. We also had a lovely balcony with a large bathtub on it. The infinity pool was magical & so relaxing to swim in after a long day. Staff were exceptionally helpful kind & professional. We had a marvellous hot stone massage & would thoroughly recommend it.

Гостиница с безумно красивыми видами и изумительными номерами в Балийском стиле, хороший спа. У меня очень много классных фотографий из этой поездки, прям очень инстаграмное место. Номер продуман до мелочей в стиле Бали, а ванная на балконе -просто восторг.

Ресторан при гостинице не очень понравился, красивая подача, но эффекта Вау не было в отличие от всего остального. Мы были там всего два раза и на завтрак, может с блюдами не повезло.

Amazing hotel!! The attention to detail is amazing. Lovely decor, sweet staff, amazing outdoor bathtub. Everything is super comfortable! Good food!

Walls are paper thin. We were often awaken by neighbors enjoying themselves :)

The staff! Everyone I came across that was working there was helpful and very nice! Great customer service! Also, the nightly activities by the pool/restaurant were entertaining.

I can’t think of anything I disliked during my stay at the Kastara.

We returned to Kastara for the second time after 1 year. Cozy spacious rooms with new furniture and incredible views. Very good wi-fi (we work with my boyfriend and we haven't had any problems). There is a GYM with everything you need. Spa!!! Specialist with magic hands! After the flight, I was recovered in literally 1 hour. Very tasty restaurant and bar. The staff is incredible! Very good location. Close to the artist's walk and not far to Ubud.
