Perfect spot for a holiday getaway! The townhome is beautifully decorated and conveniently located to Harper's Ferry downtown. Very friendly and welcoming neighbors as well! Kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking essentials. And the landscaping surrounding the property is quite beautiful even in winter. Highly recommend if you're planning to visit the area for hiking/biking on the AT.

We really enjoyed our stay with our daughter over the Thanksgiving Holiday.
We found the house to be as listed, clean, comfortable beds, everything you need for a great stay.
The only comment we have is a preference and not a concern, Paul has done so much to make the house feel cozy, inviting and what you would want on a nice stay. We just prefer less stuff in the open, it feels a bit cluttered in thee kitchen area for us. But it is a perfect get away and would come back again.

My friend and I enjoyed staying here one weekend for a girls’ get-away. Our premier host had thought of and prepared for a wide range of guest needs. Whether it was a good coffee selection or board games, he had them on hand. Likewise, when my friend scraped her leg, there was a first aid kit there. Our host was super responsive to any question we had. Most importantly, the place was clean. We would definitely stay here again.

The townhouse is exactly as advertised. Beds were comfortable, WiFi worked well, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We did not receive check-in instructions from VRBO, so I had to contact the host, who sent me the information.
One kind of weird thing is that guests are not allowed to control the thermostat. If you want to change the temperature, you have to contact the host. Definitely a bit of an inconvenience, so we just lived with the setting.

Kitchen had everything you could possibly need.
VRBO did not provide the checkin items however the owner was available and very helpful

Would definitely stay here again!
The property was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the property is literally next door to Harpers Ferry which was our main destination. The host, Paul, was easy to contact and replied immediately. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor deck is relaxing. We even saw a deer one evening while enjoying the deck.

Loved the property. Great location for staying just in Harpers Ferry for driving to breweries, wineries and hikes nearby. Very comfortable for two couples, one with a wee baby. Paul was super helpful.

It’s very centrally located. We took day trips to the Udvar-Hazy Smithsonian Museum, Shepardstown, Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, lower town Harpers Ferry, and tubing on the Shanendoah river. There’s some charming restaurants and shops close by. Our family loved doing a virtual escape room at Rations Spaceport.
We also enjoyed spending time at the house watching shows on the giant TV and napping on the enormous couch.
All the linens were provided and are very nice. Check out instructions were clear. Paul was friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again if we visit the area in the future.

Excellent Stay
Wish I could give this property more than 5 stars! We had such an excellent stay and would definitely book again in the future.
Paul was helpful and friendly the few times we interacted. I can tell he put a lot of thought and effort in to making his rental very comfortable for his guests. The small little touches, like his very helpful town guide and "spot the fox", really made this place stand out.
Also, kind of a small and funny detail, but the bed sheets were so nice that my husband and I searched for the tag so we could order some for home.
Harpers Ferry in general is a little difficult to get around but we managed. One day we found prime parking downtown but the other day we ended up parking where the busses will transport you downtown. We could have walked but decided not to since we wanted to save our walking for the trails.
Overall, give this place a shot! You won't be disappointed.

A great getaway
We were looking for a comfortable spot far enough outside of DC to feel like a retreat. Although the neighborhood is a little peculiar, the house itself is very comfortable and well appointed. It’s perfect for 2-4 people to just get away, with a huge TV and a really well-thought out space.

Great stay at a lovely townhouse
We had a great stay in this townhouse. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, we spent most of stay in the townhouse and it was very comfortable. The couch was very cozy and the TV is awesome. The beds were very comfortable as well. Would stay here again when we visit Harper's Ferry.
