Ocean Bay Resort & Spa Phu Quoc

The resort was beautiful and designed around the native woodland and coastline. We had a premium ocean room set in the trees with an outdoor bathroom which we really liked. We had to change rooms due to a small leak during a torrential storm but we were moved to an upgraded room which was offered without hesitation. The staff are so friendly and helpful especially Hue.

This was an excellent location with wonderful facilities, the team were amazing they are such kind caring and attentive people they make you feel truly special to stay there. The weather was good some days and very wet on others, the team couldn’t do enough for you even in difficult circumstances when the rain came. On the days when eh weather was fine you couldn’t want for a better resort, a true couples retreat with luxury built in. The breakfast was excellent again serviced by the wonderful team on site. The bar and jetty restaurant were really good and the perfect locations for a lovely evening of great seafood and cocktails.

The weather, however, if you book in rainy season you take your chances. On the days when it was good it was amazing but when it was wet it was tough. The drivers they work with on site are also excellent and made up by taking us to interesting places on the wetter days.

The room was beautiful, the WhatsApp 24 hour service was fantastic, the pool area is a great space and the food and drinks were delicious. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much Hue, Mr Ocean and the rest of the team who made our stay incredibly enjoyable.

La struttura è bella ma abbastanza datata. Buoni i servizi ma non al livello di un 5 stelle. Ottima e molto ricca la colazione. Esiste solo una piscina di dimensioni discrete. Abbiamo alloggiato nel Jungle Bungalow, molto bello e suggestivo, sicuramente una ristrutturazione ai serramenti sarebbe necessaria. Servizio sempre molto celere. Attenti a fare il bagno in piscina se avente i capelli tinti, come indicato dal cartello (ora messo fronte piscina) le sostanze a loro dire naturali reagiscono con i capelli tinti facendoli diventare verdi (non è una barzelletta…). Tuttavia, il general manager è stato molto disponibile nel risolvere la situazione offrendo il parrucchiere per la mia compagna e alle altre persone a cui è accaduto. Tutto sommato un buon soggiorno, siamo stati bene. Sicuramente qualità/prezzo non al meglio ma un buon soggiorno
