Took my family to Galveston to celebrate Christmas by the coast. The house was perfect! It was clean, beds were comfortable, neighborhood was nice; location was close to everything we wanted to do. If the weather had cooperated, we would've walked to the local pub - such a cool place.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars (and this is my first time not to; I love VRBO rentals) is because we didn't get check in info until after 4pm; we got to town at 3:30 and patiently waited to gain access to the house. We cooked every morning, the kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, baking sheets but no pot holders, trivets and only 2 kitchen towels. Problem was easily solved at Dollar Tree. Considering these are the only things that could've been better, it's not a big issue after the fact. The owner responded to all my messages immediately, so communication was good.
I definitely would recommend this house to anyone visiting Galveston and looking for a centrally located rental.

We really enjoyed staying at this place. It was very quaint and had a nice charm to it. The host was very helpful and was very easy to reach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Galveston. It’s also very close to the beach!

The place was great and and it was very home welcoming! It was the best place to enjoy the night with friends and family especially when it’s close to the beach and restaurants. Definitely coming here again!

Great communication. Loved having a house to stay at while visiting out of town. It can be pricey with all the fees, but staying in hotels gets old. The manager communicated well. Easy check-in experience. Incredibly comfortable king-size bed. Some minor cosmetic things but to be expected in Galveston with older houses that have been updated. Glad to have been able to take our little dog. Very nice (and new) appliances and electronics to use. The shower and bathroom were really nice! Lots of room for a 2 bedroom!

My family of 5 rented this place for an evening. Overall it was really nice. It had great space and the beds were very comfortable. We did not really use the kitchen- but looked like it has what it needed! The street was quiet and nice - I would not go for a walk at night, but it seemed okay. It was a great location if you like going to East Beach.
The property manager was responsive and nice. I have had better experiences with flexibility on check in time and check out time. They are very firm on the check in and check out time, so be out of there by 11am. All in all, I would recommend this place if you want to be close to restaurants and beach.
Thing to know- there is only one driveway spot and you may not get to park there. Probably expect street parking.

Years ago I lived in this neighborhood. Well, this apartment is like coming home. Very peaceful ocean colors, lovely and comfortable. We hope to return soon.

Cute House, Great Location
Adorable historic Galveston home. We had so much fun at this property, we were able to walk to the strand and the beach. We brought our dogs and they thoroughly enjoyed the large fenced in backyard. Things to note: there is no direct access to the backyard from the house, you have to walk around the side of the house. The house is a duplex and the adjacent unit is also rented out to guests. Overall, great weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy place. It's just a short walk to the Seawall and the beaches. We had a little trouble getting into the place, but the owner quickly responded to MY issues. The only thing I would like to see improved is some written instructions on how to navigate through the TV system. I was not able to figure out how to find (if they were available) the local TV channels. Not a big deal since we didn't watch much TV anyway.

The home was very well remodeled and absolutely beautiful. The only thing that we didn’t like was the sensitivity of the smoke alarms.
