This is a very nice property with a beautiful fire pit. Great communication with property manager. Very easy check in and out. We had a wonderful stay!

We rented this property for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay with our 3 children. The house was clean and comfortable yet lacked in lighting especially in the family room. We all loved the game room - Pac-Man machine and ping pong. The dining table was a bit wedged in to the dining area but they made use of the space. The outdoor fire pit was pretty with the lights and chairs convenient and perfect for s’mores. Beds were comfortable! The lower bunk didn’t have a ton of head room but fine for sleeping. Kitchen was small yet convenient, recently updated nicely. This house is off a main road but set back enough. our dog wandered a bit too close to the road at times so keep in mind when bringing pets. Having the shed to store our bikes was also convenient but would be good to have a working lock. We just locked our bikes together as one to make us feel better as we were robbed before at a different rental property. Overall great house and would definitely consider renting again.

Although this home is on a highway, it is completely private. All the rooms are generously sized for a large family. (We had 8 in our party.) It was spotless and very well equipped. When I needed to make a late change to the reservation, the hostess was very gracious. I highly recommend this home.

The pictures don't give you the true size of the living area. Nice linens, games, coffee station, deck, fire pit. We had to reach out to Walter for a toilet issue and he quickly responded. So relaxing, we were sad to go home.

Awesome home! Well stocked, extremely clean and great location. Nice and quiet. We hiked several trails. It was the off season but was a great little getaway.

The house was very clean with well stocked kitchen and complimentary laundry detergent, body wash, shampoo, conditoner and lotion. There were plenty of blankets and pillows to keep warm. Location is very convenient-- just 8 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, 1 mile from the post office and 1 mile from a small supermarket and gas station. The house has a big yard for the kids to play in the snow. We loved everything about the house and the host, Dawn was really nice, helpfull and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was perfect for us. It had everything we needed to really enjoy our stay. Dawn (the host) really wants her guests to have a great time, and it shows.

Let me start by saying that the photos do this home no justice! It was absolutely beautiful! As a frequent renter in Lake Placid, I have to say this was absolutely the most immaculate house weve ever rented. I typically have to sweep and do a general wipe down upon arrival, but, absolutely no need here! I was incredibly impressed. The house is very spacious. The wrap around porch was great for morning coffee(all bundled up!). We were a party of 2 adults, 1 child (age 3) and 2 small dogs. We had more than enough room and could have fit another family comfortably. The furniture was comfortable and there were options of cable, or, plenty of streaming services. Again, I was incredibly impressed with this rental when we saw how well stocked it is! Every rental we have encountered is always pretty well stocked kitchen and linen wise. However, these owners really anticipated travel needs with everything from dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips and so much more! Being that the houses typically arent well stocked, we brought all of that with us, but we really liked the touch the owners added with the thoughtfulness and hospitality. The game room/Pac man machine were a big hit for our 3 yr old. It was also well stocked with board games and darts. The house was about a 25 minute drive to town. Approximately 15 mins fron Stewarts and a couple local restaurants (our absolute fave is the Country Bear & it was less than 5 mins by car!) The purpose of our trip was taking our 3 yr old to North Pole (Santas Workshop) which was a quick 5-7 min drive from the house. All in sll, we felt it was a very convenient location. Check in was super easy, communication with Dawn was responsive and enjoyable, and we have absolutely zero complaints about this home. We have definitely found our new favorite Lake Placid rental!

We took our kids and joined some friends in a hiking trip. This home was our "base camp" and it worked out really well. There were four adults and five kids in all. We had everything we needed and enough space for everyone to sleep. The one item we couldn't find but wished we could was oven mitts.

Dawn’s place is a lovely quiet property with all amenities for a perfect getaway. We loved sitting by firepit and also enjoyed bbq. Place is located to many attractions nearby within 30 minutes drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

This home is a great home for families. Kitchen and living room area are spacious along with the game room which is a plus for all of the children. Bathrooms are updated. Beautiful yard with a fire pit. King bedroom is very spacious it has a connecting bathroom to the bunk room. Queen bedroom really tight though. Overall a great place.

We had a great time visiting for the whiteface mountain uphill race. The house had everything we needed. The fire pit was great

It was a great home base for our adventures in the area. Everything you need and more is there for great vacation. We came for the skiing but the fire pit is so inviting we might come back for a summer visit

We needed a little getaway with family time and this place was perfect.
