Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dayton East - Beavercreek by IHG

We stayed here because we needed a place to stay on our way to another destination so we didn't have to drive more than twenty hours. We also took the opportunity to visit the USAF museum which is incredibly close to the property. It's well worth the visit and the kids loved it, as evidenced by the fact that we spent three hours touring the various hangars and exhibits. The staff was friendly and provided linens for the pullout sofa. Breakfast was good and was typical of what we've been seeing at Holiday Inn properties recently: great cinnamon rolls, good coffee, varied breakfast items to suit anyone's tastes. The property seemed either new or newly renovated and had a lobby that was very similar to another Holiday Inn we stayed at in San Antonio earlier this year. We like the design and the updated breakfast items. We would definitely recommend this property for a visit to Dayton.

The area seemed very safe with lots of amenities near by if needed.

The carpet in our room seemed sticky so we all wore socks.

We had a handicapped accessible room on the second floor. I was everything we could wish for, comfortable bed, clean, very accessible shower. We wish we had that shower at home. The staff was very welcoming and hospitable. They went out of their way to help in anyway.

Clean and quiet

Two days in a row there were no eggs at breakfast, even though the breakfast ad shows them. Disappointed. On checkout day my key was disabled when I needed it at 1020. Had to go down to the front desk and had it reactivated. The gentleman said it’s automatically deactivate at 10 am. WTF? Checkout is at 11 . I won’t be returning to this location
