The property was very nice and perfect for our two families. This was my first time to Door County. Very beautiful and serene. It definitely would have been a better trip in the summer so that we could enjoy the lake and all of the fun summer activities. We knew that going in. We hiked on the closest street. I'm sure there were hiking trails we could have driven to, but decided to stay close to the property. The neighbors were very nice and the owners were very accomodating. This was a perfect little winter getaway for us.

The location on the bay was very special. We enjoed hearing the waves as we had our morning coffee on the deck. The house was well maintained and very comfortable. We look forward to renting again

The Stone Duck is one of the most comfortable, well-appointed cottages we've had the pleasure of renting. The location is an ideal spot to just sit and stare at the water (which we did - a lot!) or use as home-base to explore all that Door County has to offer. It's truly an exceptional property.

Stone Duck was spacious, clean, right on the water...beautiful view from deck. Kitchen was well stocked.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stone Duck and it did not disappoint! The house was exactly as pictured (now with updated flooring which was great), very comfortable and with all the amenities wanted. The outside was even better, and we enjoyed many a morning and evening on the decks, dock, and at the firepit. Our stay at the Stone Duck made our entire Door County trip that much more enjoyable, and if we come back to the area we would definitely stay again. We recommend to anyone looking to explore the area as a fantastic base of operations! Thank you Laughlins!

It’s difficult to not fall in love with the backyard of this house. We enjoyed every second. it was clean, and had everything that we needed. The neighbors were very kind and friendly. Highly recommend.

This property is as described. Master is on first floor which was perfect for my in-laws. Other bedrooms are upstairs. We had plenty of space for 5 adults. The back deck is large and has excellent views of the lake. There is also plenty of seating closer to the water. The location was close to many activities. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay here again! Great place for a relaxing vacation!!!

Our adult sons joined us for a long weekend and to run the Fall 50. The Stone Duck was perfect! Quiet, clean, gorgeous bayfront property. Communication with the owners was easy. Highly recommend for a getaway to Door County!

We felt at home immediately. The property inside and out was clean and well cared for. We loved the well designed large porch overlooking the Bay. We had a campfire by the water each night. Very private and quiet. Loved finding the Expen that we could use to block off the deck stairs allowing the dog to be out on the porch as well. So great to be on vacation with my dog. All family members (2 oldsters, 4 adult children, and fur baby) enjoyed this great property. Good interior space, well equipped and a great location. The best feature of the property is the rear deck offering a wonderful bay water view. Thanks for sharing the Stone Duck!!!

This property was ideal for us. Beautiful sunsets every night on the deck, easy access to walking trail and kayaks! The perfect location between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor was quiet yet so close (short drive) to the busy towns. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable. Andrew was very responsive. We would love to spend more time at the Stone Duck!

Quality home on a quiet part of the bay. Property was just as described. Would stay again. Only complaint is the neighbor’s dog ran into our yard off leash on numerous occasions.

Beautiful vacation spot!
Our family of 7 stayed at the Stone Duck for a week. It was absolutely wonderful! The house and the views are exceptional. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The access to the lake was amazing. We enjoyed the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards very much. Clear and quick communication with the owner made our vacation very easy and stress-free. We would love to stay here again!

The house was perfect for our family of 6. It came stocked with everything you could think of to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Our favorite amenity had to be the two kayaks that were included. The house was very clean, situated in a great area to enjoy the peacefulness and relaxation of the water, and was convenient to everything Door County has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Another beautiful trip to Stone Duck
This was our 2nd visit to The Stone Duck. We loved it so much last summer that we chose it again this summer! The views and access to the bay are absolutely priceless! We love paddle boarding, kayaking, playing in the water, and experiencing the most beautiful sunsets. Beyond the outdoor aspect, the home itself is perfect…spacious and well-stocked. We love the update to the deck railings! Andrew is fantastic to work with as well! Everything about The Stone Duck is stellar, and we absolutely plan to make more memories there in the future. Thank you for a wonderful week!
