Casa Bubu Guest House

Wonderful, wonderful. Great service and luxury for a four room, extremely well-maintained guest house. The bed was very comfortable. The lighting was excellent. The room temperature was totally adjustable. The Wi-fi was fast and always reliable. Just outside our bedroom was a large and refreshing swimming pool that was spotlessly clean. Breakfast every morning was a scrumptious three course individually prepared meal with enough food to last all day. Best of all was the proprietor, Yves, who was an absolute delight. He was almost always available for conversation and assistance. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and a masseuse (who came to our room for a very reasonable price). Since we already had arranged for things to do and a guide, we didn't seek his ideas in that regard. This place has a 9.9 rating on Booking.com and definitely deserves it. It was wonderful and the proprietor was magnificent.

This was a most incredible stay and gem, and I RARELY write reviews unless the experience well exceeds my expectations. Probably the most hospitable staff and service I’ve received in years. Yves went above and beyond the call of duty, providing amazing recommendations (food recs, booking taxi/shuttles, etc.), always present if needed, and made us feel like royalty. The rooms were spacious, decorated and quiet. The common lounge spaces, pool and dining areas were even more exquisite. Breakfast was VERY special and 3 courses. I cannot recommend this enough.

Yves provides top notch service, focusing on the little details and making sure you are well taken care of at all times. I think it would be hard to find another place in Nicaragua with the level of service provided by Yves, especially in a culture that is generally not very attentive to great customer service or small details. The property, pool, location, and room were amazing too. One of the best places we’ve stayed anywhere, especially thanks to Yves’s attentiveness.

I thought having to ring the bell every time we entered the house would be an issue, since we would have to wait for someone to open the door. However, we barely had to wait if anything, 30 seconds or less lol... and someone would be at the door. We didn’t even need to ring the bell. Every time we were at the door, someone was attentive and ready to open it. This made everything feel safe and controlled, ensuring that no uninvited guests could enter the house.

This was a sweet place to find in the middle of Granada! Excellent interior decor, the pool was phenomenal after walking around all day. 3 course breakfast if you wanted it, with fresh juice and fresh fruit! Our host gave us plenty of things to do, always had a smile on his face and kept very good care of the house! Will definitely return for another stay at Casa Bubu and enjoy more parts of Granada!
