A great place for staying in Dahab, Best location and close to the center, rooms are clean and tidy with comfortable beds, the staff are super friendly and kind also the breakfast is so good in the morning on the rooftop. Also the hostel offers a lot of activity with affordable prices than tourist offices. I highly recommend it and definitely will go back again. Thanks for the kind staff.

The best hostel in Dahab. I was planning to stay for just two days and I extended 4 extra days. Excellent breakfast, atmosphere, rooftop, friendly staff and everything was great. Great value for the money.

Great experience! Perfect location and awesome facility where you can rest, chill, and make FRIENDS. The room was really decent and clean. The staff was awesome and super friendly and helpful. They consider all comments and requests. The ROOF is cool and cozy especially early in the morning and at night as well. They normally throw parties every day or two - for whoever interested.

The shared mixed rest rooms - this can be more clean and private if separated. Also some shower handles are brocken.

Hi everyone! I stayed at the hostel My Hostel in Dahab, which I highly recommend for several reasons. First of all, the hostel is affiliated with a very professional dive center, which offers diving trips adapted to all levels and budgets. I had the chance to dive in the famous blue hole, an exceptional site where you can admire an incredible underwater biodiversity. In addition, as a guest of the hostel, you benefit from a discount on the rates of the dive center. Then, the hostel has a coworking space with a great view of the mountains and a good wifi. It’s perfect for those who want to work remotely while enjoying the paradisiacal setting. The staff of the hostel is very nice and young. They are always available to help us, advise us and make us discover the local culture. They regularly organize friendly activities, such as campfire evenings by the lagoon or in the mountains, with music and barbecue. They also offer meals several times a week, where you can taste homemade Egyptian specialties. It has a rooftop with a stunning view of the sea, on which you will have a great time every evening with other guests. a great place for kitesurfers who want to enjoy the beautiful lagoon of Dahab. The hostel is located a few minutes by bike or taxi from the lagoon. You can clean and stock all your equipment in the dive center. The location was perfect for exploring the city. The included breakfast was delicious. The rooms are very comfortable, with air conditioning in each room and a spacious locker per person. I also appreciated having an electrical outlet for each bed. You can even ask the staff to get a bath towel, in case you need one. In short, you understood it, I loved my 7 weeks stay in this hostel in Dahab and I invite you to discover this destination and this hostel if you are looking for an authentic, relaxing and fun place !

I planned to dive in Dahab...but, after I decided not to = the crew at My Hostel were less friendly and unhelpful with travel questions or suggestions. I felt unwelcome.... unfortunately

The smoke and smokers were relentless. Even the guy cooking breakfast = asked if I wanted breakfast while cooking and smoking at the same time. yuk.

Everybody was so helpful and friendly. Absolutely we will come back. if you are looking for somewhere budget friendly and with helpful staff than it’s a great place to stay. Thanks to everyone we met in My Hostel for their amazing smile. We felt like at home.

The place and the terrace are very cozy and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. All my doubts and questions were handled carefully.

I planned to stay 2 nights here but stayed 4 nights instead. People are super nice here, no matter staff or backpackers. Every night you can find someone to talk with on the rooftop and share your stories, travel experience, or diving experience. On my last day, I had authentic homemade Egyptian food here (my bad memory, forgot the name). Also, they have an excellent location to the center and main street within walking distance. Highly recommend this hostel! I will come back for sure!

The staff are really sweet people. They are so friendly and welcoming. You feel like they genuinely care about you. That was the best breakfast I'd had in Egypt. The cook is really good and a total sweetheart. The location is also pretty good. If it wasn't for my allergy to cigarette smoke, I would have stayed there longer.

While there is no smoking in the rooms, people smoke in the hallway and smoke from the restaurant downstairs comes up into the room. The bathroom by the stairs smells really badly from the drains and the showers need a good scrubbing daily (walls and grout on floors). It seems as though no one washes the walls in the shower.
