Absolute luxury stay towards end of Corfu trail. Exceptional accommodation and service . Super comfortable bed and lovely room. Fabulous breakfast. Cannot rate highly enough. Possibly nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you Dave and Marieka.

We came for the location of historic village in mountainous terrain with excellent facilities and we got that in spades. The local tavernas serve good food with good humour and some great views. The Merchants House is a gem. Modern facilities discretely fitted to blend with the historic setting. The hosts make you feel you have been invited to their house. Just the right level of discrete service with a wry sense of humour. Very comfortable in every way.
There is nothing not to like.

It was beautifully restored and very thoughtfully appointed.
The second bed was a sofa bed which wasn’t very comfortable for an adult. We always prefer a sheet on the bed when it’s warm out instead of a comforter….
