Tavarneta Estate

Tavarneta Estate is an absolute gem of an hotel in the Brda wine region. Our room was amazing with stunning views over the vineyards below and across to Italy. Our room was beautiful , modern and very comfortable with a small table and 2 chairs on the balcony where we could relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset across the vineyard. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and personably with special thanks to Poolina & Geoyl for their excellent service . The location of the hotel is idyllic with a lovely restaurant within the Estate serving excellent food and the most amazing breakfast on the deck overlooking the valley. It’s also a very close walk to a number of other vineyards offering wine tastings and cellar tours and some other restaurants. I highly recommend Tavarneta Estate , to anyone wanting a perfect hotel in the Brda region. We will definitely be booking this fabulous hotel when we next visit this beautiful part of Slovenia.

My only suggestion is to provide some tea and coffee making facilities in the room and some bathrobes.

Everything! The views of the vineyards and Italy from the wine bar and our private terrace, the spacious and modern room and bath, the friendly, helpful host and the wonderful breakfast (on the terrace). The host reserved a table for us at their sister-restaurant which served delicious seafood. Jure and Jaka (who also make great wine) treated us very well! Would definitely return.

Nothing. It was a perfect stay, I'd have to say. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night!

A beautiful property with an outstanding view. The restaurant was great and breakfast was very good. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great service.

It had a nice view and the seating area outside was very nice. It was walkable to some wineries and short driving distance which was nice.

Staff were a little cold, the cost was not worth the stay. The food was mixed... it was ok, and the rooms were meh as well. The skylight in one of the rooms didn't open, they made you pay for each time you had a drink rather than just put it on the room.
