I loved the authenticity of the place. The location is also great. The reception was warm and we felt really that it was home away from home. Thank you Carmel we had a splendid time.
There's was nothing not to like.

Convenient supermarket and pub nearby, close to Tullamore and hiking trips (e.g. Glenbarrow Walk). Owner is very friendly and helpful and offered to cook food for us.
Room was advertised as en-suite with its "own bathroom": Turned out to be a shower and toilet right next to the bed with a thin divider only. Should have been mentioned/shown in pictures. There are plans to build an actual wall there. After further inquiry we could use the extra bathroom on the floor.
