Meraviglia Slow Living

This is a truly beautiful hotel with distinctive architecture and a wonderful sense of style. The entire property feels peaceful, elegant and very well cared for, with a beautiful pool and lovely views of the sea. The gardens are exceptional: lush, mature and perfectly maintained, with every plant and detail thoughtfully cared for. Together with the architecture and design, they create a wonderfully calm and serene atmosphere throughout the property. The reception staff are attentive, warm and welcoming. Our room was equally impressive: beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could wish for. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the furniture, bed linen and towels are all of excellent quality. The immediate surroundings outside the hotel are perhaps a little less attractive, but once inside this beautiful property, with its peaceful atmosphere and sea views, this is very easy to forget. A good choice at the restaurant with the reasonable prices. They even offered a cake as a birthday gift. A wonderful place for anyone looking for tranquility, beautiful design and a relaxing stay.

One point that affected our comfort was smoking around the hotel. At times it was difficult to enjoy the terrace because of cigarette smoke from neighbouring guests, and we also noticed staff smoking near the entrance to the restaurant. A clearer non-smoking policy, both in certain indoor and outdoor areas, would make the environment more pleasant for everyone. We would also really appreciate seeing more efforts to reduce single-use plastics. For example, individually wrapped cookies at the restaurant. The small toiletry bottles in the bathroom could perhaps be replaced by more sustainable alternatives or larger refillable containers. The bicycles were a nice service to have, although the ones available during our stay were rather old and not always functioning well. We would have been happy to pay a little extra for well-maintained electric bikes. The beach and the strip between the road and the beach directly in front of the hotel is a lovely asset. A little more regular cleaning of this area could make a noticeable difference. It would also have been wonderful to have a few sunbeds and umbrellas available for hotel guests.

The location is stunning: right by the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature and complete peace. The narrow beach was almost empty, which made it perfect for relaxing. I also loved the design, the direct sea views and the excellent restaurant. The food, wine and service were wonderful, and both the reception and restaurant team were kind and helpful. They even helped me adjust the length of my skipping rope, which was a lovely personal touch.

The bathroom needs refreshing, especially the shower, which looked rather worn and stained. My outdoor jacuzzi was on the courtyard side rather than facing the sea, so leaves and insects often got into the water. The plastic cover and surrounding area, including the hanging chair, looked slightly neglected, with some cobwebs and signs of wear. The restaurant opening hours are also quite limited: lunch starts at 2:00 pm and dinner at 7:30 pm. Extending the hours would make the stay more comfortable.

Beautiful room with very nice view

Wifi signal was very poor everywhere in the facilities and could not work remotely. Asked at the reception for another passcode to another wifi and told me if the email is very serious then I could go to the lounge and sent it. Ridiculous
