Nice room, great view and wonderful fireplace and braai area.
I would have liked a microwave to heat our food and milk; The stoop floor area was very dirty.

The solitude and hanging chair.
Would have been nice to have a microwave to warm up ready-made meals. Also a bit of milk for my coffee would have been useful.

Hoogwater offers a great weekend escape and a peaceful retreat. The cottage has stunning views of the mountains and surrounding orchards. The cottage is well equipped and has a wonderful outside braai. I also loved the down duvet.
The mattress felt past its prime.
