The staff was about to go home and her transport was already waiting for her but she ws calm and assisted us made sure we were OK before she left

Beautiful old building and comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful
There was a definite air of neglect. The gates did not work and we had to struggle with locking and unlocking a padlock. There was no gas and we had to get a replacement. Electric blankets did not work. The cafe adjacent to our room was very noisy from early in the morning. I feel for the rate we paid at least breakfast should have been included.
