Beautiful apartment stunning views from balcony
There are QR codes in the door to help you but I think there should be more paper information of buses , taxis , supermarkets and a guest book for visitors to fill in to share information with tips and advice from there stay which is standard in the uk . I believe they should leave a welcome pack ie bread , milk , coffee , tea and basic kitchen stuff because of the location . The property is a 30 minute walk to ferry terminal there is a path that’s cuts through the winding roads but we found the road easier . The apartment was fine and views fantastic but didn’t realise access to Varenna would be that difficult as roads really steep managed to get the bus up a couple of days and found a supermarket up the hill which was a 20 minute walk.

Their was plenty of parking and the apartment was only a very short walk from the car park.
It was easy to gain access to the apartment, where a welcome gift of wine and snacks was waiting for us. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, although it could possibly benefit from a little TLC as some things were a little tired looking and there were lots of duplicated pieces of equipment which felt a little cluttered, but nothing that spoilt the stay. The apartment had amazing views and was ideally located for exploring the area. The pool was lovely and was never busy, we often had the whole pool to ourselves. I can definitely recommend this apartment and area for anyone who wants to visit Lake Como.
The walk down to Varenna via the steps was not too bad, however the walk back up was very challenging. I would recommend you have a car and park in the train station car park, where you can leave it all day whilst you go off and explore. There is an App, Easy Park, which you can download which makes it easy to park anywhere.
