Amaka House

This is a little gem of a hostel, in the lovely, authentic Albeicin, away from the crowds, but only a ten minute walk from everything. The owner is so lovely, and was really helpful, friendly and super-communicative, both before and during my stay. The garden patio with its little nooks to relax in, was a real bonus. My room was simple, but spacious, fresh and very clean, and with a lovely outlook to the patio and its bouganvillia. The photos on the website don't do the room justice. I had a really great stay! I can't praise the place enough, if you're happy with the simple life.

Not a dislike, as I loved my room (the triple room) but for guidance, if you are likely to wake in the night and need the bathroom, you might want to choose a different one. The shared bathrooms are down the steps and across the patio in a different building. I was fine with it, but others might not be

Guesthouse très calme et propre, bien située et assez proche des endroits touristiques. Doreen la propriétaire est très sympathique et serviable.

Toilettes un peu éloigné de notre chambre et eau des douches trop chaude.

Es original, en la Alpujarra, a 5 min del mirador de San Nicolás. La anfitriona es de lo mejor, simpática, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuesta ayudar, te hace sentir en casa.

Si vas con el coche cuidado porque te quedas atrapado entre las calles.

The staff was very nice, place is cool

My bed was small, and it was in dangerously high. The city center is not that close, and you have to walk up to a hill.
