So many amenities were included in the stay. Just a wonderful place to rest and enjoy. . Just a wonderful

Actually, everything. The host was amazing. Greeting us, supporting any info we requested. And equally, the place is very cozy, comfortable , tasteful. Could not say enough good things about the apartment.

We enjoyed our stay in Lekeitio.

This flat is very spacious, for two of us, a lovely big room, kitchen/dining/seating area, with a terrace to have your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. But no view… as it’s surrounded by other blocks, but it’s not noisy. Everything you need in the kitchen, as well as games for kids, big tv (small wall-hung tvs in the double rooms), and plenty of wardrobe space. There are 2 double bedrooms, one twin-bedroom, a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet, and a separate bathroom with toilet and basin. If there were 4 people, it would be fine, but with 6, it might be a little crowded. There were other people in the block, but we didn’t hear them. The flat is in a very quiet back street, off a main street in Lekeitio. You can walk to local bars, restaurants, and the harbour area, which is very good.

It’s billed as ground floor, but that’s how the Spanish do it. It’s actually first floor, with 15 stairs, so bear this in mind if you think you’re getting a ground floor property. The only free car parking we found is about half a mile away, uphill, there is NO parking near the flat. If one of you is fit, there’s no problem… he went uphill each morning to get the car, then picked me up on the nearest street corner to the flat. Same at night, dropped me off as near to the flat as we could get, then parked the car and walked back downhill. Although on-street parking is theoretically available, as with the rest of this area of Spain, there is not enough parking, everywhere is full of cars, we found it a problem everywhere we went, but we managed. For visiting San Sebastián, and it was worth it, we found a free car park on the edge of the city, and used the local bus to get into the city, it worked well. Saioa, the owner, is lovely but doesn’t really speak English, so Google Translate was used for communication. WiFi was a bit patchy, but we ascertained that it worked ok in the double bedrooms, but not in the living space.

Hemos dormido bien.
