Location was beautiful and the views from the hotel were breathtaking.
We were not expecting shared facilities although they were clean.

Fabulous, quirky little Pension. We loved everything about it.
Nothing.

Great location, super friendly staff, beautiful facilities, great food in the restaurant, love the black beer. The room was delightfully Swiss and super cozy. We had a shared bathroom/shower situation and they were always clean and free and stocked with stuff you might need. Breakfast was minimal but fine (given the situation in Gimmelwald). I've stayed at all the places one can stay in Gimmelwald and this has been my favorite!
As usual in Switzerland, the flies can be a lot to deal with but it wasn't as bad here as it is other places. And they give you a fly swatter in the room which helps a lot. :)
