Spacious, very clean house with nice views over the Hanmer township. The wifi had been sorted and was easy to use. The wide, fenced and covered deck was a great place for our dog to settle down in.

The leaky taps are still a problem unfortunately.

The location and the actual base building were great.

It was extremely expensive - over $500 per night, but seems none of the money made on the bach has been put into its upkeep. The toilet struggled to flush, the taps struggled to turn off. The kitchen had lots of cutlery and full cupboards, but seemed to be whatever they could find rather than what might be useful. The listing said the house was pet friendly but actually only meant outside and given there is no safe area for a pet, it means you can tie up a dog outside. That is not pet friendly. I realise Hanmer properties are expensive but I still think this was not ok. And it really would not have taken a lot to make the property nice and to actually do the necessary maintenance on it.

Beds were really comfortable. Place was very clean. Reasonable location.

The Kitchen and Bathroom cold taps were problematic at best, very challenging to use - need fixing or replacing. We were cold, even with the fire raging. The shower towels were tiny. Lockbox number that provided was incorrect and we had to ring BachCare for help - not what you want when its getting dark outside and just want to get in and unpack. Value for money was horrendous compared to other places on offer.
