We had a lovely stay at Hostel Virreinal. We would have extended our stay but our family room was booked for someone else. The friendly staff not only found us another accommodation nearby but helped us carry our luggage there and packed us a to-go breakfast for our super-early bus. Very convenient location for walking to historic center and to the riverside fair that was going on. Quiet and comfy with good breakfast in a nice rooftop setting. Highly recommended!

The bird paintings, the quiet location, and the 2nd floor room. Gleysy, the woman working there, was kind, professional and wonderful to work with.
Note to the owner: The reception smelled, the couches were stained, the windows on the balcony were cloudy and obscured the view. The male attendant, Jack, lied to me to regarding a phone conversation with a tour guide. He suggested we talk in my room twice. Solo female travelers should work with Gleysy.
