Excellent. Good range of choice, good food, friendly and helpful staff.
Didn't use the main restaurant - we can't eat that much food let in the evening. Nothing you can easily do to improve the situation, and my needs were met at another local (doing much smaller bar snacks)
That is NOT a criticism of Blue Bell's services - it is praise for the village as a whole.

Lovely location, beautiful garden, very quiet, good breakfast
The floor in the room was obviously very old & on a slope - that's the only thing. Everything else was amazing

The staff were all lovely. Breakfast was very good. The room was clean. Location good to get to Bamburgh and Seahouses etc
Slightly worn, the shower was pretty much a dribble if you ran it hot and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable (but that could just be me). Still very pleased for what we paid.

Good location for sightseeing in the area.
Rooms were a bit tired. Long wait to get served at breakfast.
