Moxy Glasgow SEC

Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of cold and hot food. Parking was close and you get a reduction when staying at the hotel.

Breakfast was fantastic So much choice Coffee machine was surprisingly really good

The family room was spacious and the staff were all friendly. The location is perfect for a show at the Hydro and the hotel bar being open after shows is ideal. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. For the price, this is a great option for short stays.

Our room on the 7th floor was roasting, even with the window open and the aircon on. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable. I had to sleep sideways to avoid the painful bars in the bed because the mattress was so thin. I saw much older reviews saying the same, so the sofa beds are definitely due for an upgrade. Our room was generally clean, but when I moved the stool to pull out the sofa bed, I found tissue paper and some rubbish left on the floor, so the floor was obviously not thoroughly hoovered. Breakfast was very basic and the stations were all quite messy, but it was included in the price of our room so we weren't expecting anything extravagant.

It was close to the Hydro which was ideal and wasn’t too expensive when we booked it.

Some staff weren’t pleasant. We got to our room and the bed sheet was dirty but we didn’t notice till after our concert as we checked in @3pm, left for the concert around 4pm and didn’t get back to the room till 23:30pm and when we got into the bed, the bottom sheet had a dirty red stain. The duvet cover was ripped. It just wasn’t a pleasant experience
