Piccolo

Spacious Room and great location for bars and food.

Nothing to fault on the location or the room itself. The main issue is parking advise pre booking car park as only have a 2 hour window and it can be costly for an over night stay.

Cheap even at weekend good location its not the hilton but value for money. Pretty basic but clean and comfortable bed.

Room was very spacious, beds very comfortable. Easy check in and out. Great location and value for money.

Bathroom was tiny in comparison to room size and could do with being updated. Shower wasnt the best.

Ok so after reading the reviews before coming I knew this wasn’t going to be a luxury boutique hotel, and if that’s what you’re wanting then I would recommend looking elsewhere! However, for one night - as the purpose of our trip was to see a show at the Hydro, than it was fine, just a base and somewhere to get our head down. The rooms are a decent size, the beds were comfy and the linen and towels clean. The self check in process was easy; we received a message just before our arrival time with steps to locate the key box plus the code. The bottles of water and little pastries were a nice touch also after a long journey

The hotel is a little dated and rough in areas - definitely could do with some TLC in places. I was aware before booking the bathroom would be separate to the room but private to our allocated room ; however the door didn’t shut at all (room 5 bathroom) and during the night other guests on the same floor clearly helped themselves to our bathroom which was a little off putting; especially the next morning whilst using the loo having to pull the handle shut to avoid anyone coming in which they did attempt to pull open the door whilst I sat on the loo - not the best experienced there!
