The location was very centrally located yet was pretty quiet and insulated from the street level noise. The place itself had updated and functional amenities, was clean upon arrival, and was very large. We appreciated having air conditioning in the heat wave.

I did not like that Booking or potentially the owner/host of this location used a third-party service (WhatsApp) to communicate with us. We were not told via Booking how we would get into contact with the owner/host nor their name, and were simply contacted via WhatsApp for key pick up, which surprisingly went smoothly from another person. However, I almost got scammed as I received a two messages on WhatsApp that looked legitimate - they were from a travel business company, asking me to click on a link to complete check-in. The messages included our *exact* confirmation number, dates of stay, and my name/personal phone number. Luckily I did not input any sensitive information. I'm unsure of who is at fault here but I really dislike having my personal information sold or shared to other companies/entities. I also could have researched more about the specific area this apartment was located in as the bottom door/entrance remained open pretty much through the night, which made me feel a little less safe.

The location was AMAZING: minutes from the Duomo, from the Arno, steps from Uffizi, lots of restaurants close by. There was a washing machine, which we used twice. There was a lot of space and storage.

There were no supplies: no pods for coffee, no detergent for w.m., no paper towels or tissues. The chairs and couches are uncomfortable. The elevator worked... sometimes. The lights in the stairwell are ridiculous... like others stated, pitch black with no light switch until the first floor! The water in the master shower was tepid. As other reviews stated, lots of noise until the wee hours, due to the many restaurants and bars around.

The location is the best part. Our living room window overlooked the Piazza della Signoria and that was spectacular! Walking everywhere was easy and the location made our stay incredible. The beds had a pillowtop foam mattress so they were cozy. We had a few problems with the shower and shower door, but the owner took care of it immediately, the same day we reported it.

They wanted us to take out the trash when we left, but the bins are somewhere far off. The trash cans they provided were so small that they filled up the first day, and they didn't provide more than one trash liner. We didn't have a car and didn't want to go searching for the street to dump our little trash bags, so we put it in the public cans in the piazza. It would have been better to at least have a regular-sized trash can in the kitchen. In fact, they didn't leave any napkins or paper towels to be able to wipe anything down. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great and the temperature kept erratically fluctuating. There are bath and hand towels, but no wash clothes.

It’s in the perfect location! It’s comfortable and clean and well priced. There are wonderful restaurants and coffee bars around the apartment and it’s fab to pop “home” during the day after walking miles!

The second bedroom came up on Booking. Com as a double bedroom and it’s a 2 singles. Also, the apartment needs some TLC and a few declutter sweeps and updates. It can get pretty noisy in that area as well … we were there in March and the one night was very noisy.
