A beautifully quirky old apartment in the centre of Stow. You need to be careful going up the stairs and remember to duck as you go through doors if you are 6'. This is the same in all the old properties in Stow. The Apartment was very clean and had a surprising amount of room. The tea, coffee and sugar were amply stocked for he stay.

Nothing

Nette Einrichtung, eigene Küche mit den notwendigsten Utensilien, sehr bequemes Bett

Extrem niedrige türstöcke, stark modriger Geruch beim Eingang, sehr teuer für das, dass es kein Frühstück gibt.

Location perfect. Clean and comfortable.

Needs handrail on steep narrow stairs

Adorable cottage with fantastic location in Stow-on-the-Wold. Enjoyable kitchen space and pleasantly surprising amount of lighting for an old building. Low doorways and some uneven flooring as to be expected with a historic apartment add to the charm but could be a hazard for younger or older guests.

While the location and flat itself were charming, poor management makes this was a very mixed bag. The entry to the flat has been flooded for months (looking back through the guest book) with the flooring soaking wet and significant smell of mold. There was also mold growing on the bathroom ceiling and shower. This makes the location unhealthy and potentially dangerous for guests with asthma. In addition, instead of providing an address, the directions to both the flat and parking spot (which are in separate locations) are provided in a long descriptive paragraph which refers to two businesses that have long ago closed and been replaced with other businesses. The emailed instructions and written instructions are even different, with the instructions inside the flat saying it is the 5th spot and the email saying the 6th spot. Photos and a map including with the booking reminders are a simple solution used by other locations with tricky locations--I have no idea why that is not being used to better the experience of guests. When I checked in with local shops to see if they knew which parking spot the flat was assigned, they were unable to answer except to tell me two spots that had recently been parked in incorrectly by equally confused guests.
