Church View Apartment is a stylish Cotswold holiday home located in the vibrant market town of Stow-on-the-Wold which sleeps four guests (no children aged nine or under permitted except for one baby not yet walking), in two well-appointed bedrooms and a modern family bathroom. Laid out over two floors, the apartment perfectly blends traditional features with contemporary decor and boasts a spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen/dining room which opens onto a tranquil roof terrace with outdoor seating and cosy firepit, ideal for a morning coffee.
Accommodation
This two bedroom holiday cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:
Ground Floor
The front door opens into the entrance hall, from which stairs lead into the spacious living room
First Floor
Sitting room
A bright and sunny aspect room, with exposed wooden beams and wooden floors. Amenities include a three-seater sofa, arm chair, Smart TV and a small selection of books
Kitchen/dining room
Providing direct access to the tranquil roof terrace, the well-equipped kitchen contains an electric induction oven with electric ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing/dryer and a glass dining table with seating for four
Second Floor
Master bedroom (Sleeps 2)
A stylish room with plenty of natural light, double bed, wall mounted Smart TV, full-length free-standing mirror, hair dryer, fan, built-in wardrobes and overhead storage

A well presented bedroom which contains a double bed, built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers and a dressing table
Family bathroom
A modern bathroom with high ceilings and a skylight. This room contains a bath with overhead shower, loo, basin and heated towel rail

The roof top terrace is accessed via the kitchen/dining room, a perfect space to relax and unwind after a day spent exploring the Cotswold. This area contains a table with seating for four and a fire pit for chilly evenings

The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to heath and safety only 1 baby not yet walking is allowed. Please take consideration whilst booking as the layout, furnishings, and features of Church View Apartment are best suited to guests over the age of 10 (some features could pose safety risks for infants and very young children)
Bed linen and towels are provided
Free on street parking is readily available a short walk away from the property
Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

The accommodation was exactly as described . Quality interior and very clean and comfortable . Fantastic location and easy to access . There were only two of us but plenty of room for four .

Myself & my wife stayed at Church View for 2 nights with our daughter & fiancé and our dog. The apartment is wonderful. Clean and more than spacious enough for the four of us. The terrace is a lovely bonus and we were fortunate with the weather to enjoy an alfresco lunch during our stay.
The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was filled with light from the skylight. Hard to find any faults but despite an array of kitchen utensils there is no can opener which caused a minor issue but other than that we were delighted with our stay.

My husband and I did enjoy our trip to the Cotswolds.
However the comfort in Church view very disappointing.
The mattress on the beds very poor .
Would suggest take your own pillows.
The church bells ring all through the night ,
we were able to use the bedroom at the back if need the front room take ear plugs.
A good nights sleep is so important to me so for us we would not return.

Great location, in the heart of Stow on the Wold.
Proximity to the church opposite meant that the church bells, which rang on the hour, were quite loud.
Unfortunately, the place was compact and not the cosiest. It did not have any nice smells, was musty (had old diffusers that clearly hadn't been replaced in ages and were empty/had cobwebs).
Cleanliness was not the best, the top of the upstairs was full of cobwebs, including in the lights and above the bathroom. The bathroom extractor fan was also full of dust. Bathroom was tired.
Two of the roller blinds were broken.
Wouldn't return but was ok for what we wanted.
