The location is excellent. Just a stone’s throw away from the Appenzell Train Station. Away from the loud church bells that many staying in the main square complain about. Great for travelling around the region. Breakfast spread is good. Host is warm and friendly.
The pillow is too soft for me. Room size is a bit small but very clean.

The location is perfect, nearby lots of nature in the beautiful town of Appenzell. The breakfast was great with a very nice lady greeting everybody.
It was a hot night, so an airconditioning unit would have been great, but luckily I sleep well in hot weather.

Cute, clean, close to train station, friendly host. Loved area in lobby to buy wine, beer, and sandwiches. We enjoyed our wine out on the patio in the evening. The breakfast was wonderful!
We couldn’t find a plug in the bathroom but had a mirror in main room with plug nearby.
