My family and I were so impressed with the quality of the house and all of the amenities. It was easy to contact someone when we had questions. We were so close to the beach and all of the rooms were perfect!

This is such a nice property! With a very short walk to the beach! It has the perfect amount of space for a small family. Well equipped with nicely though-out supplies for a stay away from home. The outdoor area is so serene! Perfection!

This place was nothing short of amazing. Perfect location close to the beach access (walking distance) and within a quiet, safe neighborhood of the area. We really enjoyed the backyard and patio (our favorite place to sit and visit with one another). The kitchen was fully stocked along with essentials for the laundry room and bathrooms. We couldn’t have been more pleased with this house. We will definitely be back!

I had looked at several properties before deciding on this one. Some had good locations, but reading the fine print I wasn't comfortable with the what-ifs. Other's location just made it difficult for us (9 people) to get to the beach as a group. THIS WAS PERFECT! The location can NOT be beat. The owners are VERY quick to respond to any question or reasonable request. The property was clean and worked out great for us. If we ever make it back to Florida (this was our 1st time), I am going to book this place again (if it is available) because I KNOW it will be a no hassle no ordeal perfect vacation spot. It made the trip so manageable and enjoyable! Thank you to the owners! Side note, 3 adults and 7 kids ranging from 9-16 yrs old with no mobility issues (stairs).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach Haven. It was well equipped and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to replace the master bedroom door knob with one that locks. Other than that, everything was perfect.

We had a great time at SBH, our first time staying in Miramar, typically we say in Destin. The house was as described and walk to the private beach is a short one. Plenty of shops, food options and stores within walking distance. The only real issue we had was the lack of pantry space for cooking meals throughout the week.

Four Days at the Beach
Easy access to the beach. Great customer service. House was clean and cozy. Very easy to find. Close proximity to outlet mall and numerous restaurants. Overall a 5 star experience!

The most comfortable stay!
This is our 7th year to Destin & this is one of my fav houses so far. It was clean, the beds were comfy & we loved the back patio. Chic Fil A, Winn Dixie & most importantly the beach were all short walks away. Would definitely stay here again!!!

AMAZING STAY!!
As someone from the gulf coast, I have extremely high expectations for a beach stay! THIS CHECKED ALL THE BOXES! It has a very convenient location to all of the things you love (including the beach and Waffle House 😂)! The shopping center is in walking distance, as is everything else you could possibly need! The host were amazing and even checked in after I left to ensure we enjoyed our stay! I am already planning another stay next year!

Amazing Stay
My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much. It was our first vacation in 4 years. We absolutely loved this house. It had everything we needed and was very clean. It was a short walk to a beautiful beach. It was close to the outlets and grocery stores. The beds were very comfortable. My kiddos loved that they had beach toys, floats, and chairs available to use. If you enjoy cooking the kitchen is full of everything you would need. We felt safe the whole week and had the best vacation!

Home is well maintained with good amenities. Beach is 300yards and shops are very near by to spend time. Boardwalk was nice. Owner Pat was keep updating by phone and email. Our favorite one in Destin

Beautiful House, Great Location
This was our third time renting this house. We love it. It's a short walk to the beach without crossing any streets. It's also a short walk to the grocery store. Just a short drive to restaurants and shopping. The kitchen is stunning with new appliances. The bathrooms are great. The laundry room has new washer & dryer. I would have liked to have had a DVD player in the living room and the couch is a bit uncomfortable. If not mistaken, it's the same couch when we rented for the first time in 2006.

Very nice cottage. Me and my family have a wonderful time. Everything was close (walking distance) the beach and the shopping center. The cottage was very clean and have everything you need. The communications with the owner of the cottage fantastic.

The house and its location were great.
The house was very clean. It had plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. It was wonderful to come home to after a day on the beach. The kitchen was well-stocked and the laundry room was great. The only "downer" was not enough comfy chairs in the living room to watch basketball. 😉

Beautiful property very close to beach
Had a great time at the rose cottage. Very well kept up property. Has all dishes needed for cooking. Perfect location. Couldn't be happier that decided to stay here while on vacation. Will be back again

Rose Cottage is the sweet spot of location, only yards from the beach and yards from the outlet mall. The home is elegant and well-stocked. We had the best time and all of our friends who had rented other houses were jealous of our home away from home. Cheeseburger in Paradise in the mall parking lot has great margueritas and The Hog's Breath down the road has very good barbeque. We definitely will come back and stay at this home.

We rented Rose Cottage for our family vacation (May 2011) this year and could not have been more pleased! This was a first for us so we were a little anxious about making the right choice but there was no need! Pat, the owner was amazingly kind and everything in the home is exactly as described. It is a beautiful home for adults but is also kid-friendly (we have 3!). The beach is a short walk down the road and there are no streets to cross. The home was very clean, well kept, and there were beach toys for the children as well as a high chair seat and pack-n-play for little ones to sleep in. We had a marvelous time and our kiddos are already talking about next year! Thanks for making our vacation one of the best ever!

Thanks for a great stay at your property.Upon arriving the cottage was very clean , well stocked and the kitchen was fully functionable with everything we needed to eat most of our meals in.We grilled often and the private yard and deck was quiet and relaxing to have our morning coffee.The beach was only 150 yards from the cottage in a quiet neighborhood-no partying or loud groups.All of the conveniences were within a few miles-Walmart,Bass Pro Shop,Outlet mall,restaurants and any thing else a person would want.We would highly recommend staying here as it was a great value-especially split between a couple of families.The owner takes pride in her home and it shows.Hope to stay again in the future.

We spent New Year's at Rose Cottage and it was a great trip. The house is very nice and was spotless. The location can't be beat, convenient to the beach and stores. We were able to enjoy the beautiful backyard as well. Plenty of room for three couples. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was perfect for those who want a peaceful vacation, yet close to shopping, restaurants, and of course no streets to cross to the beach!!
It was wonderful and relaxing and we did not want to leave, but we had to. It makes going back home difficult!!

Pat, we had a great time staying in your beautiful home. The house and decor were lovely as well as your patio and garden area. My husband and I enjoyed sitting out on the patio reading and enjoying our morning coffee. The closeness to the beach was an added plus.
