Summerland’s California Dreamin’ was the perfect rental for our group! The home was very clean, organized, well stocked, and the layout was very comfortable. The location was close to Montecito and Santa Barbara and each morning we walked to Red Kettle Coffee, which was delicious! We enjoyed the games in the garage and added a puzzle we didn’t finish to the home’s offerings. Unfortunately, we wanted to make more use of the hot tub, but the temperature was too hot and we couldn’t figure out how to lower it. Also, one thing to note, which we didn’t find out until a few days before arrival, when we received check in details… they ask that you not talk outdoors after 9:00 pm. This seems like an odd request, given the inviting patio, hot tub, etc., but when arriving on property, you notice the homes are very close to one another and you understand the request. Also, everything in the area closes so early that you’re probably going to be indoors by 9:00 pm anyway. It wasn’t an issue for us at all, but we were surprised when we saw the notation, as we thought we’d be sitting on patio and using hot tub in the evening — neither happened. Would highly recommended this property and would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay! PS toilet seat in master is heated :-) This was a welcome surprise as it was cold and rainy during our visit.

Great stay with close location to downtown but far enough away to enjoy some quiet time.

Great location, as I enjoy walking into town to explore. The house was clean, the beds super comfy, and the amenities were a bonus for my teenager. Would stay here again.

A really lovely rental in a fantastic area. Great views of the pacific making for great sunsets and sunrises. Summerland is a cute small beach community and the fantastic Santa Barbara is just 10 minutes drive away. A high quality, stylish and well equipped house, decor is very Californian chic with a big Restoration Hardware feel. Beds super comfortable. Great master bathroom. Almost everything about this house says quality and style. The only gap is the lack of air conditioning. For those who like cool/cold bedrooms then this was not ideal

The house has everything. It is a 15-minute walk to the beach and a 10-minute to the small town. We had a wonderful time.

We stayed here last year and loved it even more the second time around! We were in town for our daughter’s UCSB graduation and booked a private chef for dinner. Amazing set up on the back deck that faces the ocean with a beautiful sunset. Great location to celebrate with the family!

Small and quaint, but only 5 minutes to Montecito and 10 to Santa Barbara proper. During our stay, there was both a twin-sized fold out mattress and a pack n’ play (with a thick mattress) in the closets. Super helpful for those with kids and not sure if this was even listed in the description!

There's something about the light in California. Californa Dreamin' is abundant with light from every room and it was also very cozy on rainy days. The place accommodated 5 of us very well. Very well stocked and the beds were super comfortable. The patio is the best and next time I'll rent when it is a tad warmer. But the hot tub was perfect for cooler nights as well. Gorgeous view and peaceful. Easy walk to the beach and Summerland is precious. We will return for sure!
