Non farti mancare nulla! Prenotando questo cottage che ammette animali domestici ti troverai in una zona strategica a due passi da zone in cui andare a cavallo e dalla riva del fiume. Non avrai bisogno di perdere tempo per lasciare il tuo mezzo in un posto sicuro: qui ti aspetta anche un parcheggio. Poi non avrai che l'imbarazzo della scelta: potrai percorrere 10 minuti a piedi fino a Ponte di Forth Road o 9 minuti a piedi fino a Ponte di Forth Rail. Da Stazione di South Queensferry Dalmeny, a 12 min. a piedi potrai prendere un treno per partire alla scoperta delle località circostanti.

Attrezzatura a disposizione nella cucina: una lavastoviglie. Potrai approfittare di Wi-Fi gratuito e TV: annoiarsi sarà davvero impossibile. Great base to stay and enjoy South Queensferry. The house was very comfortable with excellent views of the Forth Bridges. Great location - but it is high up so anyone with mobility may struggle to get up the steps/path from the lower road. The town offered some lovely restaurants (Scotts & Samphire were both excellent) and a couple of pubs. South Queensferry is an excellent location, train only took 17 mins to Edinburgh and also accessible to get over the forth and explore the area of Fife. Would highly recommend

The location is perfect as a tranquil setting near to the capital (17 minutes on train) just wonderful to return to after a busy day. Apartment had absolutely everything you could need and was tastefully decorated with quality bedding and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Tiny niggle is that the 2 chairs which turned into beds whilst very sturdy were not the most comfortable to sit or sleep on - found them very firm. Large bathroom with good shower and plenty of hot water. . Prompt communication from host Lorna. Lovely welcome pack. You could never tire of the view from the window. Wouldnâ€™t hesitate to recommend.

We loved the location (we were aware of the parking potentially being problematic, but parked outside house all stay) and being on a hill didn’t cause us any problems. It was worth it for the view alone! The property has retained its charm whilst having all mod cons and everything we needed. The host was so accessible, but we didn’t need anything. The train ride into Edinburgh was easy, even with the dog.

Situated above the main high street, the stunning view from the living area takes in all three bridges and beyond. Our stay was for 4 nights and the convenience of the accommodation and public transport meant the car stayed where it was. All the facilities of Queensferry are within easy walking distance with a good choice of restaurants although the kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. Lorna, the host lives down below and thoughtfully provided a few basic items to start us off after our journey and before a shopping trip was made. The railway station is a 12-15 minute walk away with 2 trains per hour and a 15-20 minute journey into Edinburgh so convenient for visits to the capital. The description of the accommodation on this website is spot on and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if we get the chance!
