We loved our stay at Destin West! The condo was as described. We didn’t have any issues and found the condo to be clean and well stocked for our weeklong family vacation. The kids loved the bunkroom. We appreciated the sand/beach items that were available to us. The condo is right by the parking garage (though there are about 6 steps that you have to walk down in order to get to the floor the condo is on). Our kids loved the pools, especially the lazy river. I would highly recommend this condo unit - it was close to restaurants, easy walk to the beach and pools, and beautifully updated.

The chair in the primary bedroom that folded into a bed was not comfortable for my daughter. She chose to sleep in the pull out couch which was broken so she ended up sleeping directly on the couch itself. I sent a text to the number in my check in instructions but never received a response.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful condo with plenty of space! The unit is a great easy walk to the beach (down the side stairs)! The beach chair renters can give you one right at the end of the boardwalk!!! Beautiful beach views and relaxing place to be!

This was our first beach vacation with our kids and we had an amazing time!! We would stay here again! We loved the atmosphere/decor of the condo and the views from the balcony. The condo was very comfortable and had plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. We also enjoyed all the amenities Destin West Resort had to offer. The condo is located at the very end of the building closest to the parking garage making it very convenient with coming and going from the condo.

Best beach vacation
This was our first beach vacation with our kids and we had an amazing time!! We would stay here again! We loved the atmosphere/decor of the condo and the views from the balcony. The condo was very comfortable and had plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. We also enjoyed all the amenities Destin West Resort had to offer. The condo is located at the very end of the building closest to the parking garage making it very convenient with coming and going from the condo.

We stayed for a week in unit 416 on the Gulfside and had the best trip! The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen was great. It had all of the kitchenware needed to make meals at the condo during our stay. The view of the pool and the ocean was incredible from our balcony. We also found out on our second day that we are allowed to also use The Island's (next door condo) pools, restaurants, etc. With our condo combined with what The Island had to offer, it was a perfect combination! We were able to easily walk to the shops and restaurants at The Boardwalk. We went to Harborwalk Village twice and took the EC Rider Shuttle ($2.00/person) one time and an Uber the next. This condo is in a wonderful location and if we are able to return, we will stay here again!
Only one issue--- the bifold door to the bunk room was broken and not on the hinges when we checked in, but our young kids slept in there anyways, so it wasn't a major deal for us.

Bathroom and floors especially. Other than that we were very happy. Since it was the end unit I thought it might be a pain to walk to the beach but it was a breeze. I like the parking garage.

The condo was very nice and decorated tastefully. Lots of room for everyone to put their own things. There was several things that could have been better. The light over the shower in master bathroom was out. The floors was so dirty I had to sweep and mop myself when we got there. Lots of dust on everything. But we had a good vacation. Perhaps the cleaners and maintenance could improve on their jobs.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom 2-bath condo with a beach view. The view was fantastic! It was nice to be close to the beach and to the public beach. The location was ideal, we were close several restaurants and the boardwalk pier. Our condo was clean and comfortable. The bedroom with the bunk beds did not have a closet so we used one of the extra dressers from one of the other bedrooms. We enjoyed the lazy river and outdoor grilling area on the Bayside condos. In our opinion the Bayside condos have a better pool and grilling area. The only downside is you just don’t get the beach view. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We would book again and recommend to others.

We were only in town for four nights to plan our daughter and son-in-law’s upcoming wedding. The condo was clean and well stocked. The only few things I noticed that needed some attention were the living room curtains had a previous cigarette burn hole (we don’t smoke) front welcome mat was old, needed replaced, a couple of the bathroom white floor mats had seen better days. But all in all, nice. The view is to die for. Perfect location and walking distance to many bars and restaurants. We would stay here again! Jennifer was great at communicating. Thanks

Come here every year for a large volleyball tournament and destin west never disappoints. This unit was very clean and spacious

Beach and pool fun all day and a relaxing dinner out on the balcony to end the evening was a perfect way to spend our vacation. Kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed to prepare dinner each night. Kids are ready to go back and so are we.

Great location, comfortable and clean
The place was clean and ready. The managers were good communicators and helped us get in slightly early to accommodate my work call on our travel in day. Our son loved the access to the lazy river/heated pools and the pool and beach on the condo side was super easy access. This end unit was also super convenient to the parking garage so you could park right next to the unit (no noise issues) and didn't have to worry about getting your stuff from a to b or walking a mile to come and go. Located 'between' Ft walton and Destin and next to the national seashore so plenty of beach space without a crowd and easy to get to either place. Place was super comfy and had all we needed.. We dined out but could have easily worked the kitchen for a lo get stay. We were 3 but the place could easily accommodate 8 or so..
My only critique as a Floridian was the beach stuff they provide was broken and struggling a bit. I'm sure they would have helped if we had asked but we brought our own and didn't use it much anyway. There's a beach rental company onsite too if you are flying in. Great stay overall and we are actually planning on returning for another go.

Great property
The condo was well kept, spacious and easy access to the beach. The view is outstanding. We enjoyed sipping morning coffee on the 4th floor balcony. We had a very relaxing stay and found plenty of venues to explore.

Amazing Property!!!
This rental is fabulous!!! The view is amazing! The balcony off of both the living room and master is awesome and it was so nice to listen to the ocean waves. The property was very clean and well stocked. The bed in the master was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a rental home! The location is great - close to boardwalk and a short drive to Destin. The beach is right there and there are several pools to choose from as well as a large hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. Overall a wonderful experience!

Great locaation & stay!
We loved our stay over Christmas! The condo was in great shape, had super comfy beds, and was in a great location! The balcony overlooks the pool, with the ocean in the background. The parking garage gave us easy access to the condo which was great when carting around luggage. We couldnt have asked for a better place, and would definitely stay here again.

False room appearance, plus more
Couldn't use the bathtub because of no plug, broken drain plug in kitchen, twin blankets on our king bed, father n law couldn't watch tv because of no remote in his room. Beach chairs were completely rusted out. There was no umbrella like it said. Dishwasher did not clean the dishes. Dryer vent had a whole side out, it was getting lent inside. The pull out sofa smelled awful! I had to purchase wash towels and hangers. 4 wash clothes for 10 people does not work out well. Maybe a total of 8 hangers. There was a dirty wash towel in the bathroom hanging over the shower head. A long black hair in the shower along with other hairs. There was a large bag of nasty trash left outside on the balcony. There was trash and money left in a few of the dresser drawers. The wagon has a wheel that didn't work, so it was very hard for us to use. It was very sad. We brought my husband's father with us, he's 90, never seen or been to Florida or the ocean, and this all was not pleasant. Definitely will be back to Fort walton, but NOT staying here.
