Staying at the Cellar’s Edge made our trip absolutely wonderful! The home was cozy, inviting, and the perfect place to relax after a full day of adventures. It was super clean and the views were incredible! The location made it easy to access the places we wanted to visit. We would 100% stay here again. This home and Alaska stole a little bit of our hearts!

We would definitely stay here again! The unit was adorable and centrally located. Sarah was easy to communicate with. I would suggest new mattresses and bedding - they were not comfortable and did not quite match the rest of the house as far as nice-ness. Overall we would 100% stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. It has to be one of, if not the best rental we’ve stayed in. Everything looked exactly like the photos, and the host always got back to us promptly with any questions we had. It’s secluded and private and updated. We will definitely book again if we’re ever in Alaska!

Beautiful modern cabin with all the amenities. Every attention to detail thought of for guests. Wonderful time to get away on vacation with my husband from our busy lives in Pennsylvania for the week. Enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor hot-tub. Many memories made spending time with our son, daughter-in-law, and 3 young grandchildren who live in Alaska over the weekend making dinner, roasting marshmallows & reading books. The expansive view from the wall of windows is secluded and serene. We even saw a few bunnies scampering along the bluff amongst the wild flowers. We absolutely loved our stay!

This place is perfect! My husband and I were first time visitors to Alaska and this house and area are great. The host was extremely friendly and gave us many great recommendations for things to do and also places to eat. The Grape Tap in Wasilla is a must for a romantic date night. Our personal favorite for fish and chips was at Humpy’s in downtown Anchorage. We also explored Seward for a fjord tour and whale watching. One of our favorite memories was seeing the Northern Lights from the deck and the beautiful large windows. We would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to our friends and family.

This was our first time up to Alaska and couldn't have asked for a better little place to stay during our trip! The views are absolutely gorgeous and the location was great, not too far from everything in town but also far enough away it was nice and quiet. The hot tub on the deck was just the cherry on top. Sarah was amazing at checking in with us and anything we may have needed. We will definitely try and make it back up!!

Simply relaxing from start to finish! Simple clean lines, in a beautiful space. Serenity and peace follow with Devine relaxation. And maybe if you are lucky, a moose will join you for breakfast!

New, clean, well-stocked home. Great layout for small family. Covered hot tub on porch was delightful.
Two minor recommendations for owners:
1. Pillowcases were soft but sheets were rough linen-type fabric. Recommend replacing sheets with same soft cotton as pillowcases.
2. Remove the high pile rug from under the dining table. Looks great but impossible to find crumbs. If you want a rug, use something low pile like cowhide.
Overall a wonderful stay. We saw two moose nearby. Also a glimpse of the Northern Lights on our final night! Highly recommend!

Don't walk, RUN to book this VRBO. We had a wonderful time staying here. It was very clean, close to activities, and exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was great and had a sweet view. The "fireplace" was a bit of a let down, but that's the closest we got to having anything negative to say. We would stay here 10 out of 10 times!!

The property is awesome. It was clean and organized. The owners were easy to work with. They were very prepared and had all the information you need about the property and the area in a little binder on the table. Very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family.

I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful our stay was here. The house is beautiful, the setting in gorgeous and the hot tub is to die for. It is so quiet and peaceful, a true getaway from noise and stress. The lovely touches in the home really make a difference. Sarah was on the ball answering all my messages right away and when we couldn’t get out of the driveway one morning, Jason came out within the hour and shoveled the whole driveway and got our car out for us. I cannot talk up this house and this wonderful couple enough. What wonderful hosts. I will certainly rent from them again and send everyone I know traveling to Wasilla straight to this place. Thanks again for a wonderful few days!!!!

The home is so well located, designed and appointed. It's close to shopping and restaurants, hiking trails etc., but in a very private spot. On our first day I saw Moose, a rainbow and a bush plane, all by 9am! We were able to see the northern lights too.
The lodge at Hatcher Pass has great food and live music on Saturday nights. Lots of good food options around here.
The hosts are perfect too. Thank you for a wonderful 3 weeks!

I cannot even begin to voice how amazing this host and property are. I am already planning my next stay!
Everything was perfect. The home is gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The view from the deck breathtaking and the hot tub made for amazing relaxing evenings.
Sarah was responsive and answered my questions in a matter of moments every time.
If I had to complain about something, just to give a well rounded review, I would say that I didn’t like the pillows. Haha! I’m a pillow snob and I missed my incredible pillows at home.
Many thanks to Sarah and Jason for creating such a beautiful oasis. We will be back!

One word: amazing!
From the first interaction with the host and until the day we checked out. The most epic stay thus far in our travels. Jason and Sarah were premier hosts and more than accommodating to us. Even with our luggage fail, they stepped in and helped us get it sorted out. The property was second to none and even the hot tub was an unexpected positive +10.
We have extensively traveled for work and leisure and this has by far been the best experience ever.
Off the back deck, mountains to the right and moose literally 15 feet from the deck.
We will be back and we will definitely stay with the two that literally treated us like family. Thank you again Jason and Sarah!!!

Absolutely beautiful cabin on a private lot overlooking the ridge.
The cabin is super cute, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. So many thoughtful touches! Sitting by the fire pit and watching the sun set over the wildflower field was a surreal experience. I will definitely be back!

The property was truly as advertised (every the photos were honest!!); after stays in other sites and hotels this was such a relief. After being in Juneau and Anchorage, the peace and quiet of this property was perfect. Wildflowers surrounding the front and sides of the property, welcomed us. It was spacious, clean, and so comfortable, there were days I wanted to stay in to enjoy the peace and quiet rather than explore. Sipping coffee on the deck in the morning and ending the day with a glass of wine relaxing by the fire were prefect bookends to our vacation days! The “bonus” to our stay was how quickly Sarah responded to the few questions we had—it was obvious she cared about providing guests a great experience.

Dreamy Stay in a Dreamy Spot
Even after staying 7 nights at The Cellar’s Edge we weren’t nearly ready to leave. This beautiful home has everything we needed and much more. There was coffee, bagged and loose leaf tea, creamer, honey and sugar to go with it. Sarah even left pastries, yogurt and a few different cold drinks in the fridge for us.
Everything is brand new and the house is immaculate. The sunset views are breathtaking out the floor to ceiling windows and the (dual) shower is exactly what we all needed after long days exploring.
The property is centrally located for all of the fun adventures we had from Kenai Fjords NP to Denali NP and everything in between.
Sarah checked in with me through our stay and was always happy to answer my silly questions about where I could find the local things she stocks the house with.
I can’t say enough about Sarah and this sweet little home. We couldn’t have dreamt of a better place to live for our week in Alaska. We’ll be back!

Out of a magazine
The initial impression is like you are in a magazine ad! Very beautifully decorated. You feel a part of nature with all the windows. Lovely private location. Host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect in every way
From the moment we opened the door there was both a sense of excitement and calm wash over all of us. Everything about the property was fantastic, with many extra special touches from the owners. We couldn’t have asked for anything more other than more time there. Sarah checked in a few times over text to see if we needed anything and of course we didn’t as she had thought of everything already! The communication was great because it was not too much or too little. The place was very private yet neighbors weren’t far away. It felt very safe and was not too far from “civilization” to get groceries or go out to eat. There were three of us staying there and none of us wanted to leave. If we are ever back in Alaska this is the first place I will hope to stay!

Best place in the valley!
We absolutely loved this property! It was beautiful, clean, communication was excellent, the property had everything we needed and more! This was such a classy and comfortable place to stay! I will definitely be back here for future visits!
