Comfortable, modern and clean room within walking distance (10-15mins) to the central train station and the historic centre of Florence. The room was equipped with a small fridge, AC, and smart TV. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Overall the facilities were very good and offered a good balance of comfort and location. I’m happy to recommend this B&B.
Breakfast was not included in my room rate. It only cost an extra 10 Euro per day, but given the cost of the room overall, I felt this should have been included. The room I stayed in faced the street, so there was noise from passing trams, vehicles and people. It wasn’t noisy late at night - so it didn’t impact my sleep, but light sleepers may want to book a different room off the street.

The description matched the reality. Italian style room in contemporary style. A good shower, close to the train station and an easy walk into the centre of Florence. It was a great location and choice for a first visit to Florence.
Nothing really. In the words of an old UK tv ad, it did what it said on the tin, and that's great.

Absolutely amazing stay at B&B the Lux! The whole place was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The host was incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. He took the time to chat with us and gave us great local tips.
We really appreciated the luggage storage service before and after our stay, which made our travel much easier.
It’s a little farther from the train station than we thought

The furnishings were all new and this has been renovated to a very high standard. Welcoming host and very responsive.
