Overall it was a great experience

Location

9 / 10

Cosy and comfortable in a great location.

Location was great. Easy to get buses into the city centre and the tram line is a 10-15min walk away. Some very good restaurants close by and a great view over the water. Apartment was cosy and comfortable with good facilities.

We visited at the end of winter and we had lots of jackets between the family, unfortunately the apartment had no coat racks/hooks. We had young children that like to run around and the apartment has wooden flooring throughout, we were concerned that we were making a lot of noise for the neighbours below us, although we had no complaints.

Fabulous out of town location within off road walking distance to Edinburgh cente and cyclist heaven

Very tastefully furnished spacious apartment in lovely old building on 3rd floor. Excellent and very timely local bus connections and tram to Edinburgh a short walk away. Supermarkets nearby and many good restaurants and coffee shops. Brilliant cycling and walking routes along the Trinity path nearby which spreads out like a web around Edinburgh and across the road onto a great cycle and walking route to Cramond and beyond.

The entrance hall of the apartment was fabulous but could do with somewhere to hang coats and a shoe and boot rack?
