Rove Hotel London Paddington

What we liked: The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes from Paddington Station, making it easy to get around London. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. The room was clean and the staff were friendly.

What we didn’t like: The bed was too small for two adults. Over several nights, this made sleeping less comfortable.

Location and daily cleaning

I stayed for 7 nights and asked to move rooms on day 1 due to construction taking place at my window. Staff was unfriendly and told me there’s no construction taking place. I also only received pillows 3 days after check-in after continuously asking for them.

I appreciated the very kind and accomodating staff. Also the location is a big PLUS as it is only a 5 minute walk away from Paddington station.

We had the our room in the basement which seems to be right next to the Underground line and was quite noisy every few minutes. But the hotel kindly offers earplugs.

The staff was wonderful & the location (proximity to to Paddington Station) was great! I liked that the rooms were more modern & LOVED that there was an elevator.

The bed was uncomfortable & the pillows were lumpy. The sound of the train/subway cars/lines was definitely noticeable & constant (even on the 3rd floor…as I read other reviews mentioning it on the lower levels). Our window was broken (the attachment to leave it slightly cracked did not function) & the safe was also not operational. The room was small, which we expected - but could hardly find space to open a large suitcase (& needed to block the door out to do so). Also, no hooks or bars to hang bath towels (which I would expect in a small space).
