Location, classic room, quality bathroom

The room had everything I needed, the bed was comfy, nice and close to Paddington station, good lighting options, provided shower gel, tea and coffee making facilities, easy check in and out, staff friendly

The walls were very thin (I could hear my neighbours' conversations and tv through the wall), people's front doors slammed quite loud, the shower water didn't get warm

The Location is the Only Saving Grace: To give credit where it’s due, the location is absolutely brilliant. Tucked away in Norfolk Square, it is a mere three-minute stroll from Paddington Station, making it incredibly handy for the Tube and airport links. You can easily walk to Hyde Park from here, which is a massive plus.

If you only need a roof over your head in a fantastic location, the Belvedere Hotel might suffice. However, for the price paid, the lack of basic value and underwhelming service left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, the service was quite a letdown. Unlike what many booking platforms lead you to expect, breakfast was not included in the stay, which felt like a proper codswallop given the rates for central London. To make matters worse, when querying this and asking for basic assistance, the staff felt rather indifferent and a bit unbothered.
