Lorna and Steve are excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. East Lyn House is a characterful Victorian house, with a lovely comfortable lounge available to guests and a terrace with sea view (though the weather during our stay was not conducive to its use!). Breakfast was excellent and the system of ordering what you wanted the night before worked well. The house is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Lynmouth and the sea.
It was good to have covered parking available, though reversing down the quite steep slope to it was slightly nerve-wracking (but the physical location makes this impossible to change).

The hosts - Absolutely top drawer, from greeting us to checking out and not forgetting the lovely Caleb. The breakfasts were wonderful, especially the full English. The location - it would be difficult to find a better place to stay (and with parking) in the whole area.
The attic room felt a little bit 'tight' but then we are tall(ish) people. Minor point -The dining room could have had some background radio/music on for breakfast?
